Since the reform and opening up,China’s higher education has developed rapidly.As an important supplement of public higher education resources,private colleges and universities emerge at the historic moment and have made great contributions.There is no doubt that over the years,private higher education has made gratifying achievements in many aspects such as system construction and school running practice,and at the same time,it has exposed many problems that need to be solved urgently.Especially with the continuous advancement of higher education popularization process,the number of private colleges and universities’ enrollment keeps rising,its existing structural problems are more and more prominent,and there are a large number of students with learning difficulties,which has become a common problem faced by many private colleges and universities.On the one hand,private colleges and universities mainly recruit students from the tertiary level and junior college level,that is,students with low grades in the college entrance examination.The quality of students is relatively poor,and the teaching of talent cultivation is difficult.On the other hand,compared with public universities,the level of teachers in private universities is significantly backward,and the lack of teachers directly leads to the poor quality of education and teaching.In view of the above problems,many colleges and universities have taken active measures to change the current situation of students’ learning difficulties caused by the poor quality of students and the low level of teachers,such as differentiated schooling,reshaping the specialty orientation,appropriately reducing the difficulty of scientific research,and broadening the employment channels.By reducing the academic and scientific research requirements for some students,we strive to cultivate all kinds of application-oriented talents and change the original educational objectives of research-oriented talents.Although these measures have achieved some results,they fail to fundamentally solve the fundamental problem of learning difficulties of students with learning difficulties,which not only fails to effectively improve students’ learning engagement,but also affects the overall training quality of the school.This study takes a private university in Xi ’an as an example(OY),and through reading and analyzing relevant literature,adopts the methods of questionnaire survey and so on to have an in-depth understanding of the academic situation of the students in this university.This paper analyzes the study status of students with learning difficulties,analyzes the problems and causes of students’ academic difficulties,and then constructs a set of academic early warning and guarantee system suitable for the school and takes practical application as a test method.Through the in-depth analysis of the results of the trial operation of the academic early warning system in our school,it is further proved that the academic early warning system can produce remarkable results in solving the academic problems of students with learning difficulties.Finally,to a large extent,it improves the learning situation of students with learning difficulties and plays a good role in helping the students with learning difficulties,thus providing a reference for other private colleges and universities to improve the academic problems of students with learning difficulties. |
