Education is the foundation of a long-term plan;teachers are the foundation of a long-term plan.Teachers are the first resource of education development.How to cultivate excellent teachers with high quality and specialization is one of the core tasks of China’s current education reform.In 2014,the Ministry of Education issued the "opinions on the implementation of the excellent teacher training plan,which put forward the objectives and requirements of the "excellent teacher training plan" and the training modes of excellent teachers at different stages,providing strategic guidelines and policy support for the efficient implementation of the "excellent teacher training plan".In 2018,the CPC Central Committee,the State Council and the Ministry of education successively issued a series of policy documents on the reform of Teacher Education: opinions on comprehensively deepening the reform of teacher team construction in the new era,action plan for the revitalization of Teacher Education(2018-2022),and opinions of the Ministry of Education on the implementation of excellent teacher training plan 2.0.With the release of national policies and documents one after another,improving the quality of training normal students has become an important mission of China’s education development.The study found that China’s normal education has made remarkable achievements,but in recent years,the enrollment scale of normal students is expanding,and there are some problems in the talent training of normal students,which affect the improvement of the quality of training.How to improve and perfect the training of normal students has become an urgent task in normal education.Based on the theory of all-round development of human beings and the theory of teachers’ professional development,this paper uses the methods of literature research,investigation and case study to sort out and analyze the related concepts,theories and current situation of normal undergraduate talent cultivation,and summarizes and refines the problems existing in normal undergraduate talent cultivation,which are mainly reflected in the improvement of talent cultivation concept and enrollment work There are six aspects that need to be paid attention to,talent training program needs to be optimized,education practice is relatively weak,teacher education team is weak,quality evaluation and guarantee system is not perfect.Learning from the advanced experience and practice of normal talents training in representative universities at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the following six improvement strategies for the main problems: to update the concept of normal students’ talents training with the guidance of excellent teachers;to optimize the enrollment system and improve the quality of talent selection;to clarify the goal of talent training and optimize the talent training program for normal students;to pay attention to the connotation and quality construction and put forward the corresponding countermeasures In order to improve the practical ability of normal students,we should integrate and optimize the teaching staff,establish a community of teaching staff,improve the assessment and evaluation mechanism,and strictly control the quality of talents.To ensure that the training of normal students follows the laws of social and economic development and education,improve the quality of normal students’ training,and meet the needs of social development for normal talents.
