In recent years,with the expansion of colleges and universities,the scale of college graduates has continued to expand,and the employment situation has become more and more severe.Innovation and entrepreneurship as a new form of employment is becoming more and more important in college teaching.The ability of innovation and entrepreneurship is essential to the success of innovation and entrepreneurship Whether or not it matters.This study takes Z University students as the survey object,uses questionnaire survey method to investigate and analyze the current situation of innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities from 4 secondary dimensions and 14 tertiary dimensions,explores the main problems and reasons existing in college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities,and proposes Strategies to improve college students’innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities.Use SPSS26.0 to analyze the differences and regression of the various dimensions of innovation and entrepreneurship ability in gender,grade,major,comprehensive score,family location,family monthly income,whether it is an only child,the highest education level of parents,and whether or not they have accepted innovation and entrepreneurship courses.analysis.Through data analysis,the following conclusions are drawn:First,the overall level of innovation and entrepreneurship ability of Z University students is at a lower-middle level.Second,there are significant differences in the dimensions of innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities in terms of gender,grade,major,comprehensive grades,family location,family monthly income,whether they are an only child,the highest education level of their parents,and whether they have received innovation and entrepreneurship courses.Third,explore the problems of misconceptions in innovation and entrepreneurship;low willingness to learn independently and insufficient analytical ability;lack of innovative knowledge;insufficient interpersonal skills.Fourth,analyze the reasons based on the above problems,and they are internal reasons:the subjective concept of innovation and entrepreneurship is not strong,the quality of oneself needs to be further improved,the lack of correct understanding of innovation and entrepreneurship,and the lack of independent learning habits;external reasons:the social atmosphere of entrepreneurship is not Strong,the school’s innovation and entrepreneurship curriculum design is not rich enough,innovation and entrepreneurship teachers are weak,and entrepreneurial funds are lacking.Fifth,based on the analysis of the above reasons,propose strategies to improve college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities from the four levels of individuals,families,universities,and government.The individual aspects include establishing a correct concept of innovation and entrepreneurship;correcting entrepreneurial and innovative attitudes;fostering interest in innovation and entrepreneurship and participating more in innovation Entrepreneurship activities;cultivate the ability of independent learning,innovation and entrepreneurship.The family level includes changing family concepts;increasing entrepreneurial support.The level of colleges and universities includes creating a strong atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship;offering diversified innovation and entrepreneurship education courses;cultivating entrepreneurial teachers;and enriching college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship practice platforms.The Government level includes increasing the propaganda of innovation and entrepreneurship policies;increasing investment in entrepreneurship education.
