As one of the important thinking skills of young children,critical thinking of young children has received more and more attention from related scholars.Critical thinking is closely related to children’s cognition,thinking ability,and thinking habits.Studies have shown that by cultivating critical thinking in young children.It can promote the formation of children ’ s higher-order thinking abilities,such as creative thinking,abstract thinking,etc.It can also develop children’s cognitive abilities,such as language ability,memory ability,concentration,etc.,and can also help children form good thinking habits,such as thinking.Be organized,prudent,etc.Talking activity is an educational activity that can effectively exercise children’s thinking.In this process,children’s logical thinking,language understanding and expression,and abstraction ability can all be developed.This research explores the causal relationship between conversation activities and the development of children’s critical thinking in the form of experimental research.The research method is mainly experimental,and the research objects are children aged 5-6.First,two large classes were randomly selected in xx kindergarten.Then divide a class into an experimental group and a class control group,and use the "Preschool Children’s Critical Thinking Tendency Questionnaire" to investigate the critical thinking situation of the children in the two classes.The results show that the critical thinking level of the children in the two classes is the same.Then,"Children’s Critical Thinking Series of Talking Activities" was added as an independent variable to the experimental group.The control group did not make any changes.By implementing a total of 16 conversation activities for 16 weeks in the experimental group,and then using the "Preschool Children’s Critical Thinking Tendency" The "Questionnaire" carried out post-tests on the experimental group and the control group.The results showed that the experimental group had significant differences between the pre-and post-test results,the control group’s pre-and post-test results were not significantly different,and the experimental group and the control group had significant differences in the post-test results.Finally,the following conclusions are reached: through conversation activities can effectively cultivate children ’s critical thinking,which has certain educational application value;through conversation activities,children ’ s thinking traits of seeking truth and exploration can be effectively cultivated;through conversation activities,children ’ s independent thinking traits can be effectively cultivated;Through conversation activities can effectively cultivate children’s open-thinking thinking characteristics;through conversation activities can effectively cultivate children’s prudent thinking characteristics.
