Research On The Application Of Shanxi Merchants’ Culture Into The Tourism Professional Course Of Jinzhong Vocational School

When General Secretary Xi Jinping inspected Shanxi in 2017,he fully affirmed that the Shanxi Merchants’ Culture still has important contemporary values in the contemporary era,and Shanxi Province should strengthen its confidence in the Shanxi Merchants’ Culture.Jinzhong is the birthplace of Shanxi Merchants’ Culture,and has rich cultural tourism resources.The “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of Shanxi Province ’s tourism industry has established Shanxi Merchants’ Cultural Tourism as one of the six major tourism sectors in Shanxi Province.Taking the famous Pingyao ancient city and Rishengchang ticket number,Qiao family compound,Qu family compound,Cao family compound and Chang family manor as representative scenic spots,Shanxi Merchants’ Culture can be deeply felt through sightseeing tours.While promoting the development of the local economy in transition,the Shanxi Merchants’ cultural tourism also urgently needs strong talents support.After the students graduated,the job areas they faced were tour guide service,travel agency work,scenic area service and management.Therefore,it is necessary to integrate Shanxi Merchants’ culture into tourism professional courses.Shanxi Merchants’ culture contains rich tourism teaching resources,which meets the interests of teachers and students.Therefore,it is feasible to integrate Shanxi Merchants’ culture into the tourism professional courses.After analyzing the necessity and feasibility,explore the way to integrate Shanxi Merchants’ culture into tourism professional courses.First,we conducted questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students in vocational schools,and conducted site visits to scenic spots.Secondly,it is clear that the Shanxi Merchants’ culture is integrated into the courses based on the principles of education,occupation and adaptability.Thirdly,conceive a program for integration into the course,explore suitable courses,time,methods and contents for integration,and integrate them into courses such as “Tourism Geography”,“Basic Knowledge of Tour Guide”,“Guide to Local Attractions” and so on.Finally,classify and sort out the content that can be integrated into the course.Take the research object A school as an example to explore the specific application of integrating Shanxi Merchants’ Culture.First of all,the spiritual connotation of the Shanxi Merchants’ Culture is run through the entire process of talent training.Students perceive the spirit of honesty and trustworthiness,diligence and dedication,solidarity and cooperation,so as to cultivate students’ integrity and professionalism,teamwork spirit,and improve students’ professional ethics and occupation.Secondly,starting from the content of teaching materials,teaching objectives,teaching methods,integrated into the course teaching,so that students master professional knowledge.Start with the content of the textbook,find the chapters suitable for integration and supplement or add corresponding learning content on the premise that the basic structure of the original textbook remains unchanged;start with the teaching objectives,adjust the corresponding teaching objectives,and grasp the teaching direction to carry out teaching design and teaching activities according to the teaching goals;start with the teaching methods and adopt rich teaching methods.Different courses use suitable teaching methods to increase students’ interest in learning.Finally,by reasonably arranging professional internship training,actively organizing on-campus cultural activities,and vigorously carrying out off-campus practical activities,the experience will be enriched.Through specific applied research,it is expected to improve the content of courses with local characteristics,inherit and innovate Shanxi Merchants’ Culture;improve the professional ethics and qualities of students,and provide explanation and service talents with the cultural heritage of Shanxi Merchants’ culture for the local tourism industry.
