In the context of the national fitness strategy,the number for sports venues in my country have gradually increased,people’s awareness of sports fitness has gradually increased.In the era of social media,relying on the matchmaking of WeChat groups has significantly increased.As the world’s first sport,football is one of the most representative mass sports,and many people use it as the first choice for participating in sports activities.Over the past few years,the widespread use of WeChat groups has caused tremendous changes in the way of gathering and activities of individuals in the mass football circle.Participants gradually fixed themselves into groups during the event and formed a new order of activities.This research uses the perspective of group communication,takes the small and famous Longshun circle in Chongqing as the research object.This research uses participatory observation,in-depth interviews and other methods to explore the circle culture generated by the mass football circle.It uses theoretical explanation as much as possible to explain "Baba Football"(the southwestern region refers to the mass football as "Baba Football");the importance played by social media--especially WeChat Group;"Baba Football" group production;The circle culture and its significance.First of all,this paper studies the media and communication content used in daily communication among individuals in the "Baba Football" circle,and answers the formation of the "Baba Football" circle culture.Individuals in the circle use the "WeChat appointment group" and soccer as communication.Through communication,they constantly enhance their mutual feelings.The WeChat group plays a crucial role in the current mass football activities.Secondly,the research shows that the participants of "Baba Football" have the consciousness of "we"--the group consciousness formed by the commonality.The unique consciousness of group formation allows the group to have a unique set of group norms.Behaviors that violate the majority’s opinions during the event will becorrected because of the pressure generated by the group norms.Everyone should try to avoid fouls and understand each other.Participants are also constraining their behavior because of group pressure.Finally,the results of the study show that: circle individuals have gained the opportunity of self-presentation and elf-identity identification in group communication;circle individuals have achieved a sense of thing in "seeing and being seen".The positive and optimistic attitude towards life has a nice effect on each other.
