With the improvement of social and economic level,the decision-making power of middle school students in family economic activities is gradually strengthened,and many parents will try their best to meet their children’s consumption requirements within their ability.As the main force of the future consumer society,the consumption values of middle school students have an obvious guiding role in their later life values and consumption behavior.The family is the child’s first school.The influence of family education on children’s consumption values is self-evident.Middle school students are in adolescence of rapid physical and mental development,and their values have not yet been formed.It is easy to be guided by the bad social consumption culture of the society and develop a lavish consumption habit.This study explores the relationship between family finance education methods,consumption values,and impulsive buying tendency,which has great exploration significance for cultivating middle school students to form good consumption concepts and reducing the tendency of impulsive buying of middle school students.In this study,780 middle school students were investigated by using the questionnaire of family financial management education mode,the questionnaire of middle school students’ consumption values and the questionnaire of impulsive purchase tendency.(1)There are differences in gender,grade,only child,family location,staying behind,parents’ education level and family monthly income.(2)The consumption values of middle school students are different in gender,grade,family location,parents’ education level and family monthly income.(3)There are differences in impulsive purchase intention of middle school students in gender,grade,only child,family location,left behind,parents’ education level and family monthly income.(4)The middle school students’ family finance education methods have a predictive effect on consumption values and impulsive buying tendencies.Intervention control is significantly positively correlated with rapid decision-making and unplannedness;educational guidance is significantly correlated with rapid decision-making and unplannedness;spoiled indulgence ispositively correlated with disregard for the future,buying impulse,mood adjustment,and purchasing experience,Purchase impulse,mood adjustment,and purchase experience are positively correlated.Intervention and control are significantly positively correlated with fashion consumption,frugal consumption,and comparison consumption;education guidance is significantly positively correlated with consumption consumption and comparison consumption;indulgence and indulgence are significantly positively correlated with fashion consumption and comparison consumption.Thrifty consumption is significantly negatively correlated;anxiety complaints are significantly positively correlated with fashion consumption and comparison consumption.(5)The consumption values of middle school students have a predictive effect on impulsive buying tendencies.Fashionable consumerism is significantly positively correlated with disregard for the future,buying impulse,mood adjustment,and purchasing experience,and is significantly negatively correlated with unplannedness;frugal consumption is significantly positively correlated with rapid decision-making and unplannedness,with disregard for the future,regulating mood 2.The purchasing experience was significantly negatively correlated;the consumer-price ratio was significantly positively correlated with ignoring the future,buying impulses,adjusting mood,and purchasing experience.(6)Middle school students’ consumption values play an intermediary role between family finance education methods and impulsive buying tendencies.Fashion consumption and consumption comparison play a full intermediary role between intervention control and impulsive purchase tendency;comparison consumption consumption play a partial intermediary role between educational guidance and impulsive purchase tendency;It acts as a partial intermediary between impulsive buying tendencies.
