Research On Training Model For New Farmers Based On WeChat In “Internet+Education” Era

Cultivating new farmers with technology,knowledge,thought,and dreams is conducive to the development of agriculture with high-quality,high-yield,efficient,ecological,and safe.Also,it will promote the construction of a new socialist countryside and targeted poverty alleviation in poor areas."Internet + Education" has the advantages of breaking time and space restrictions,convenience,and openness,which provides the possibility for independent training of farmers.The popularity of smartphones among farmers and the ease of use and usefulness of WeChat provide new ideas and opportunities for training of new type farmers based on the Internet.Based on adult learning theory,teaching interaction theory,and self-determination theory,taking a township farmer in Jilin Province as the survey object,and according to the survey results of their use of smart phones and computers and their learning needs,combining the township and local conditions Learner characteristics,the paper designs a new WeChat-based peasant training model in the era of "Internet + education",and explains the model in terms of training purposes,training talents,and training organization.Based on this,the researcher takes the township e-commerce precision poverty alleviation project as an example to design and develop a WeChat public platform that includes learning content,recommended resources,message boards,testing and interactive links.The research uses quasi-experimental methods,questionnaires,and interviews to measure the effectiveness of the application of the training model for new farmers’ based on WeChat in the "Internet + education" era from the dimensions of farmers’ learning effects,test submission quality,agricultural product sales,farmers’ satisfaction,and specific details of the training process.The results shows that it may promote the transformation of traditional farmers into new farmers adapted to the development of the times,effectively improve their knowledge level and sales of agricultural products,and most farmers show a high degree of recognition for this model.Finally,according to the problems reflected in the practical application of this model,the research proposes strategies to improve the interactive experience,establishes reward and punishment mechanisms,develops personalized curriculum content,strengthen the follow-up visits to farmers learners,and further optimize the model with a view to providing a new perspective for the increase of employment rate,income of new farmers and the construction of smart villages.
