| With China’s entry into education information 2.0,robotics and artificial intelligence technologies gradually combined with primary and secondary education.At the same time,the Party Central Committee and the State Council issued in the 35 th document "New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan" issued in 2017 that it is necessary to gradually promote programming education by setting up education robots and artificial intelligence-related courses at the elementary and middle school stage.In this study,the open source “Mind +” is used as the platform,the control board is used as the hardware,and the three major concepts of STEAM,Maker and PBL are used to design and develop a set of "Hui Xiang Control" course,and it was applied to teaching practice has achieved good teaching results.This article hopes that by developing such a set of control board robot courses,it can stimulate students’ interest and confidence in learning robots,inspire students’ programming thinking,cultivate students’ innovative ability,and provide reference for follow-up researchers.The structure of this article is as follows:(1)Overview of the research background of educational robots and control boards at home and abroad.Author has researched the research direction of educational robots through the literature method,investigated the development of robot courses nationwide through questionnaire survey methods,and analyzed the existing problems in robot education.(2)Overview of related hardware and educational theory.Author elaborated the concepts of robots and robot education,introduced the functions and characteristics of Mind + platform and control board;then summarized the theories of maker education,STEAM education,constructivism theory and project learning method,laying the theoretical foundation for the research of this article.(3)The conception and design of the curriculum system and the development of curriculum resources.Based on the recommendations of the Basic Education Information Technology Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)combined with thesuggestions of front-line robot course teachers,based on STEAM and project-based learning methods,Author developed a curriculum system which conceived from recognition platform to speech recognition,image recognition and from shallow to deep,from easy to difficult.Based on the curriculum system,author combined with the knowledge points it should include,design and develop the "Smart Enjoy Control" textbook containing 14 projects and corresponding PPT resources.(4)Course content teaching practice.Author applies the course content to a robot education center in Chongqing University Town for teaching practice.Conduct a questionnaire survey on students to obtain the practical effects of the course content;interview teachers to obtain suggestions for further course modification,and provide a reference for more researchers who study robot courses. |
