The Changes In Inheritance Mode Of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritages Of Sports:A Research With Grounded Theory

The research on the changes of inheritance mode of Chinese intangible cultural heritage of sports(hereinafter referred to as ICHS)is helpful to enrich the theoretical system of ICHS and the development & protection of ICHS.The purpose of this study is to summarize the categories of the changes of ICHS in China,discover the direction of the changes of ICHS in China,and analyze the factors affecting the changes of inheritance patterns.This research adopts qualitative research method of grounded theory,taking the change of ICHS as the research object,a total of 263 national-provincial-municipal ICHS were selected;112 inheritors’ interview recording materials,124 inheriting genealogies and44 application forms were selected as the main research materials.NVivo11 software was used to code and analyze the inheritance pedigree of ICHS,the recording materials of the interviews of the inheritors and the application form.10 main categories are finally established through the coding work of grounded theory,847 labels,93 initial concepts,28 categories.This study draws the following conclusions:(1)the inheritance methods of Chinese ICHS include: clan inheritance(inheritance of the same and different family names in clan inheritances),the inheritance of the proposed clan inheritance(inheritance of teachers and apprentices)and non-clan inheritance(group inheritance,business inheritance and school inheritance).(2)The paper studies the changing direction of six ways of inheritance,These are: the changes from clan inheritance to fictional clan inheritance,from fictional clan inheritance to clan inheritance,from clan inheritance to non-clan inheritance,from fictional clan inheritance to non-clan inheritance,from non-clan inheritance to fictional clan inheritance,and from clan inheritance to non-clan inheritance.(3)in this study,six factors affecting the change of inheritance modes were found,including the influence of war,policy implementation,means of livelihood,leisure life,cultural atmosphere and population flow.Research findings:The war promoted the development of specific ICHS;The policy shapes the spatial form of ICHS Inheritance;Generally speaking,the means of making a living promote the inheritance of ICHS;The population flow makes the ICHS inject the elements of urbanization;When ICHS faces a large number of leisure and entertainment,it highlights the vulnerability of its heritage;To a certain extent,cultural changes have brought about structural changes in the inheritance of ICHS.(4)A theoretical model of the change of inheritance mode of Chinese OCHS is preliminarily constructed.It also puts forward the suggestion of policy-leading,attaching importance to inheritance and cultivation,integrating into the market to develop cultural resources and innovating the way of development by means of Internet platform.
