Research On The Coordination Of Women’s Status And Socio-economic Development

Women’s issues are a major issue in social development,and women’s status is the focus of women’s issues.Therefore,to evaluate the overall status o f women,and to study the degree of coordinated development and mutual promotion between the two in combination with socio-economic development,it is of great significance for the party and the state and women’s federations at all levels to formulate poli cies on the advancement of women and to implement the basic national policy of equality between men and women.This article takes the status of women and socio-economic development in China from 1987 to 2017 as the research object.First,sort out related concepts and connotations according to domestic and foreign related literature on women’s status,socio-economic development and coordination,and select projection pursuit and coordination degree models to evaluate women and socio-economic development and coordinate the research;Secondly,follow the basic principles of comprehensiveness,science,representation,independence,and operability,and build a women’s status evaluation index system from five aspects: political law,economics,education,family marriage and health,and construct an evaluation index system for socio-economic development from four aspects: economic growth,technological innovation,people’s livelihood and welfare,resources and environment,using the projection pursuit model to evaluate the status of women and socio-economic development in China in 31 years.The research conclusions show that: the status of women as a whole is on the rise,but the fluctuations are large,and the occurrence of peaks is mostly related to the enactment of laws and regulations and policy implementation in the year.The evaluation value of years without corresponding policies or compulsory measures has decreased,and in recent years,it has continued to stagnate or even decline.Socio-economic development has been increasing rapidly since 1987.Although the growth rate has decreased compared with the past,it has continued to increase.Thirdly,the coordination between women’s status and socio-economic development is studied through a variety of coordination models.The results show that the two basically conform to the time-coupling relationship and have a strong coordination relationship,and the development of the two has shown a decline in recent years.Finally,based on the evaluation and coordination analysis,relevant policy suggestions are proposed from five aspects to enhance the status of women to adapt to the overall level of social and economic development,and hope to promote social and economic development through the advancement of women’s status and the coordination of the two.
