Textbooks as a core component of school education,reflects the country’s education thought and idea,is the basic foundation of most school teachers and students to carry out teaching activities.Example is an important part of a textbook,The differences in quantity,level,style and emphasis reflect the overall level,style and tendency of a country’s mathematics textbook.In mathematics textbooks,examples play a role in introducing,learning and applying knowledge to a certain extent.It also plays an important role in improving students’ learning quality and teachers’ teaching methods.Singapore and China are important parts of Asian culture and share similar cultural origins.In recent years,the research on the reform of mathematics education in Singapore has drawn lessons from the reform ideas and experiences of the West,and has integrated into the tradition to form its own educational characteristics.His achievements in the reform of mathematics education in primary schools are particularly outstanding and have attracted the attention of all countries around the world.Based on this,the comparative analysis of mathematics education in China and Singapore provides a good reference for the further development of the new mathematics curriculum in primary schools in China.This dissertation adopts the literature method,comparative method and other research methods.It is against China’s "compulsory education textbook" Hebei Education Press.(Abbreviated as "Hebei version")and Singapore "my pals are here! maths".Third Edition(referred to as "MC version")comparative analysis of primary and secondary school textbook examples two systems fifth and sixth grade textbook.First,compare the design concepts of the national textbooks and the distribution of knowledge in grades five and six.Then compare the examples from the structure,content and cognitive aspects.Two versions of the textbook examples system have their own merits,and Hebei Education Press textbook thinking and exploration in use.The use of or amendments to the teaching materials of China’s education is proposed to be implementable.By contrast,there are great differences in the structure of the Hebei version and the MC version,besides the topic,there are also some parts such as "discussion " And the MC version in addition to the title also has a "memory "," before learning" and so on.In the context of examples,there is incompleteness in the example presentation.In the case of cognitive function,students pay attention to the understanding and application of knowledge.In view of the deficiency of Hebei version,we can use MC version for reference to make exploratory modification of Hebei version in the process of using more plates and so on,and get better results.
