Research On The Cultivation Of College Students’ Volunteer Spirit From The Perspective Of Moral Emotion

The development of volunteerism keeps pace with The Times.The communist party of China and the Chinese government attach great importance to the promotion and cultivation of volunteerism.The cultivation of college students’ volunteerism has becoming an important part of ideological and political education in colleges and universities.So far,some achievements have been made in the theory and practice of volunteerism cultivation,but it still needs to be further enriched,improved and developed.Based on the theory and perspective of moral emotionalism,the study of this issue has some new ideas and theoretical and practical significance.This paper discusses the origin of volunteerism and the carrier of volunteerism.the connotation of volunteerism can be defined: volunteerism is a kind of lofty moral spirit with the idea of caring for others actively,the goal of pursuing benevolence and altruism,and the principle of voluntary service.Moral emotionalism is an important theory in the history of ethical thoughts.The western moral emotionalism thinks that moral emotion has the nature,the altruism and the individual behavior dominant;In traditional Chinese culture,the moral emotionalism advocates to change people by feeling,to be perfect,to cultivate one’s morality by feeling,and to apply oneself to others.The school of moral emotionalism in psychology holds that moral emotion is the functional response of human body,with the functions of experience and reflection.There are different viewpoints among moral emotionalism.The consensus view is that moral emotion plays a leading role in the choice of individual moral behavior.The theory of moral emotionalism provides a theoretical basis for the cultivation of volunteerism,on which the author establishes the CAJ model of moral emotionalism.Volunteerism is closely related to moral emotion,and its correlation is shown as follows: moral emotion promotes the generation of volunteerism,and volunteerism is the concrete presentation of moral emotion.Moral emotion is a comprehensive system,which includes sympathy,empathy and empathy.The mechanism of moral emotion in the cultivation of volunteerism can be summarized as follows: sympathy is the basisof college students’ volunteerism,empathy is the intermediary,and sentiment is the goal.The discussion of this mechanism provides methodological guidance for the cultivation of volunteerism.The specific method of cultivating volunteerism is the logical extension of the action mechanism of moral emotion.The basic idea is to promoting the mutual promotion of compassion,empathy and sentiment in the process of education and teaching of volunteerism cultivation.Specific methods can be divided into four types:Change the concept of volunteerism and inspire compassion;Cultivate the sense of gratitude and enlarge the empathy effect;Strengthen the role of example,enhance the capacity of empathy;Create a voluntary situation and create an altruistic atmosphere.
