With the development of the Internet and the advancement of teaching informatization,online education has become an important means for colleges and students to assist in learning.Among all kinds of online education resources,videos of online courses are undoubtedly the most valued and core type of education resources.At present,there are many online education platforms,and the huge number of videos is facing difficulties in content retrieval.In addition,among the various ways of learning,case explanation as a way with clear goals can make students feel the motivation and goals of learning and review more.Starting from this point,a case segment detection system for online course videos is proposed,and a case question bank is established to allow students to retrieve the case explanation segments in the online course videos through this system to obtain relevant case explanation segments.This thesis implements a set of case segment detection system for online course videos,through which information of online course videos can be obtained,and case explanation fragments can be searched to assist students in learning online courses.This system is mainly divided into the following three parts: network video acquisition subsystem,video clip analysis subsystem and video case clip library management subsystem.In the network video acquisition subsystem,a high-availability and high-parallel video crawling framework is implemented,which can be used for sniffing,crawling and transcoding of different types of online course videos.The video clip analysis subsystem mainly realizes the extraction of case clips in the video.The subsystem uses a histogram-based lens edge detection algorithm to segment the video.On this basis,the text recognition results are used to complete the segment merge,which effectively solves the problem of excessive segmentation caused by the animation or multi-camera switching in the course video.And finally realized the identification of case fragments.Finally,the video case clip library management subsystem implements the corresponding Web system interface,which can access the system and view the current system and question bank status.At the end of this article,taking "Data Structure" as an example,a total of 1,035 online course videos were detected and processed for the "Data Structure" online courses of 33 different schools,and a case question bank containing 1353 case fragments was established and allowed inquire and access the question bank through the Web system.
