The Study On The Ideological And Political Education’s Function Of Chinese Traditional Festivals On College Students

Traditional festivals have a long history,which is an important carrier of our national spirits and traditional culture,and have rich educational resources.Therefore,we should combine Chinese traditional festivals with ideological and political education by enriching the content of college students ’ideological and political education with the cultural connotation of Chinese traditional festivals,and making Chinese traditional festivals an opportunity for college students ’ideological and political education.As a result,we can promote the innovation of college students ’ideological and political education and improve the effect.On the basis of summarizing the types and cultural connotations of Chinese traditional festivals and summing up the characteristics and functions of ideological and political education on college students,this paper expounds the close relationship between Chinese traditional festivals and college students ’ideological and political education.Such as,the connotations of Chinese traditional festivals and the contents of college students ’ideological and political education can be complemented,the activities of Chinese traditional festival and the process of college students ’ideological and political education can be connected,and the significance of Chinese traditional festival and the purpose of college students’ ideological and political education can be unified.The main contents of ideological and political education’s function of Chinese traditional festivals on college students are analyzed: agglomerate national identity to strengthen collective sense,guide thought and behavior to improve sense of acquisition,regulate various relationships to enhance happiness.This paper investigates the cultural awareness and participation of college students in Chinese traditional festivals,and finds that there are three main problems in exerting the ideological and political education’s function of Chinese traditional festivals on college students: college students’ insufficient cultural awareness in Chinese traditional festivals,great impact of western festivals and artificial festivals on Chinese traditional festivals,and slow process of modernization transformation of Chinese traditional festivals.The main reasons are: the government lacks guidance in promoting Chinese traditional festival culture,the family’s feelings towards Chinese traditional festivals tend to be flat,the school does not pay enough attention to Chinese traditional festival culture education,and the structure of University Students’ humanistic quality needs to be improved.Therefore,it is necessary for the government to give full play to the guiding role,the family to release the fortress effect,the university to fulfill its main position responsibilities,the university students to firmly establish the subject consciousness,and the four forces to closely integrate to maximize the ideological and political education’s function of the Chinese traditional festivals on college students.
