Athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior refers to athlete be aimed at organizations or members of organization to engage in unethical behavior,and the behavioral outcome violate the spirit of sports,customs,law and moral codes.Compared with self –interested unethical behavior,athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior is more harmful and more concealed.As a core role in an organization,coach have an important inpact on the ethical values of athletes.Although some studies have confirmed that coach leadership is a predictive factor of athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior,few studies have explored the influencing mechanism of athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior from the perspective of coach ethical leadership.According to the theory of social learning and the model of sports moral disengagement deduction,the coach ethical leadership may indirectly influence the athlete proorganizational unethical behavior through the sports moral disengagement,and this influence may be moderated by law and code organizational ethical climate.Therefore,this study aims to revise a scale of athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior suitable for Chinese athletes(study 1)and attempt to construct a moderated mediation model to explain the relationship between coach ethical leadership and athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior(study 2).In view of the current domestic haven’t development that tool of athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior.Therefore,study 1 based on the Korean scholar Xu Xiaomin revised athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior scale,and carry out the reliability and validity test with localization.Firstly,the athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior scale was translated,secondly,through the network questionnaire to survey our country athletes,recovery of 412 valid questionnaires(sample 1 include 192 athletes,sample 2 include 220 athletes),finally,Exploratory factor analysis was carried out with sample 1,and confirmatory factor analysis was carried out with sample 2.The results of study 1 showed that:(1)the revised Chinese version of the athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior scale has 10 items,include 1 factor;(2)The fit index of the single-factor model was good.(x2/df=2.526,CFI=0.970,TLI=0.952,SRMR=0.031,RMSEA=0.086);(3)The Cronbach’ α coefficient of the total scale was 0.901,and the criterion correlation validity was r=-0.396,p<0.001,which was suitable for Chinese athletes.Study 2 used to Chinese version of the Athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior scale,Ethical leadership scale,Moral disengagement sports scale,organizational ethical climate scale test to a total of 421 athletes from multiple provinces.Discusses the influence mechanism of coach ethical leadership on athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior.The results of study 1 showed that:(1)Coach ethical leadership on athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior has significant inhibition effect;(2)The mediating effect test showed that,moral disengagement in sport plays a part of the mediating role between coach ethical leadership and athlete proorganizational behavior.Coach ethical leadership influences athlete pro-organizational unethical behavior through conduct reconstruct and advantageous comparison indirect negative;(3)The moderating effect test showed that,Law and code Organizational ethical climate plays a moderating role in the coach ethical leadership and a part of moral disengagement in sport,under the high level law and code Organizational ethical climate,the indirect impact is more significant of coach ethical leadership through conduct reconstruct and advantageous comparison on athlete pro-organizational behavior.To sun up,the study 1 revised scale of athlete pro-organizational behavior contains 10 items,which has high reliability and validity and is suitable for the measurement of athlete proorganizational behavior in China.The study 2 have a social learning and social exchange theory as the foundation,to verify the coach ethical leadership can significantly inhibit athlete proorganizational behavior,sports moral disengagement plays a part in mediating effect between coach ethical leadership and athlete pro-organizational behavior,law and code organizational ethical climate plays a moderating effect between coach ethical leadership and partial sports moral disengagement.Therefore,the athlete pro-organizational behavior can be suppressed by strengthening the coach ethical leadership,creating a good law and code organizational ethical climate,and strengthening the ethical and moral training of athletes. |
