China has entered upon a new era.As China’s economic growth has been slowing down,in the process of cultivation of new economic growth points, the performance of knowledgeintensive service trade is prominent, which would become the development priority of China’s modern service industry and service trade development. The knowledge-intensive services are knowledge-intensive,technology-intensive and innovative, which cannot do without human capital. Therefore, from the perspective of human capital, this paper studies the impact of human capital on knowledge-intensive service trade, which has certain significance for China to enhance human capital and promote trade development.Firstly, this paper expounds the mechanism of human capital’s impact on knowledgeintensive service trade from the perspective of production, demand, and micro-enterprises,that indicates human capital can promote knowledge-intensive service trade.Secondly, after completing the above theoretical analysis, this paper makes a description of current status of China’s human capital and knowledge-intensive service trade to explore some problems of them. Then, this paper collects the relevant data to conduct an empirical analysis to explore the influence of general human capital and high-level human capital on the export of knowledgeintensive service trade. The empirical analysis has carried out co-integration tests,Granger causality tests, and established error correction models. The empirical result shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between human capital and China’s knowledge-intensive service exports, but the general human capital has stronger influence that is because of the relative insufficiency of high-level human capital. At last, based on the above analysis, this paper offers some suggestions to promote China’s knowledge-intensive service trade by enhancing human capital level: from the government aspect,it’s important to strengthen the guidance of trade policies and talent policies;from the industry aspect, this paper suggests to establish intra-industry alliances and industry-university-research centers;from the microenterprise aspect, they should explore new markets and focus on talent training and retention.
