Study On The Influence Of Aging Population On Regional Science And Technology Innovation Ability

In today’s world,population aging caused by changes in fertility and mortality rate has become an important social problem faced by all countries in the world,causing great concern from all walks of life.As the first driving force of social development,scientific and technological innovation is an important driving force of social and economic development.Since the full implementation of the family planning policy in China,the speed of population aging is much faster than the speed of developed countries into the aging society.This indicates that China’s scientific and technological innovation will be in the environment of aging population for a long time.Under the background of deepening population aging and social development increasingly relying on scientific and technological innovation ability,it is very important to explore the impact nature of population aging on regional scientific and technological innovation ability.At present,some scholars have begun to pay attention to the impact of population aging on scientific and technological innovation ability,but no unified view has been formedBased on previous research results,this paper analyzes the influence of population aging on regional scientific and technological innovation ability based on the provincial panel data from 2009 to 2016 in China.In the reading of vast amount of relevant literature and the population aging in our country and the present situation of regional science and technology innovation ability analysis,this paper USES social network analysis and factor analysis method to build regional technology innovation ability measurement index system,then based on dynamic panel data to construct an ageing population to model the influence of regional technological innovation capability,in 2009-2016 China’s research and analyze the relevant data of 30 provinces and cities,explore the impact of an ageing population of regional scientific and technological innovation capacity,found that China’s population aging has a positive effect on regional technology innovation ability,The two first-level indexes and six second-level indexes of regional science and technology innovation ability also have positive effects,but the effect on other indexes is not significant.In-depth analysis shows that the influence of population aging on regional scientific and technological innovation ability has economic difference and regional difference,and the overall trend is "from high level to low level" and "from east to west" gradually increasing Finally,according to the research results,put forward countermeasures and Suggestions to promote the improvement of China’s regional scientific and technological innovation ability under the background of population aging,and provide basis for relevant departments to formulate policies.
