Research On Political Identity Of College Students In Micro-era

The "micro era" is the product of the informatization of human social life and the inevitable result of the development of new technologies such as computer and Internet.The"micro era" is marked by the rapid and comprehensive entry of micro media into people’s lives,and the impact of micro media on different groups in social life will vary to different degrees.With the advent of the micro era,online micro media represented by Weibo and WeChat have an unprecedented impacts on the political identity education of college students and also brought great challenges to it.Based on the definitions of micro era and political identity,this paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges which college students’ political identity is now facing in the micro era.From four dimensions political value,political entity,political tool,and political efficiency,this paper determines the main content of college students’ political identity.Through questionnaire,individual interview,expert consultation and other empirical methods,the basic situation of political identity of college students in the micro era is investigated and its basic characteristics,existing problems,and influencing factors are summarized in this paper.On the basis of empirical research,this paper compares the survey results with relevant academic researches,and analyzes the causes of problems existing in the political identity of college students in the micro era from three aspects,including social environment,ideological and political education in colleges and universities,and the factors of college students themselves.It holds that the main reasons are as follows:diversification of communication subjects in micro times leads to differentiation of political identity,diversification of communication modes leads to marginalization of main channels of ideological and political education,and fragmentation of communication content leads to decentralization of mainstream ideology.Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is backward in concept,single in mode,dull in content and monotonous in method.The political view of college students is too idealized,the political cognition is biased and they are lazy to participate in social politics.Finally,the paper puts forward some countermeasures to cope with the problems.The countermeasures are to improve the social environment of political identity in the micro era,to carry out featured ideological and political education in colleges and universities with micro-era characteristics,and to improve the political quality of college students in the micro era.
