| Parents involvement has been regarded as the parents contribution in the process of educating their children.The resources invested by ones’ parents introduces great significance in promoting either their mind and physical growth or social development.For years,the impact of parental involvement to their children’s academic achievement has attracted attention from scholars and thus related research follows.However,it remains unclear that to what extent does the parental involvement influence their kids’ academic achievement.Furthermore,considering the fact that the research of impact brought to one’s academic achievement by his parental involvement and how this impact happens stay underdeveloped,in order for revealing the impact brought to one’s academic achievement by his parental involvement and its internal mechanism,this thesis studies 499 samples collected from one high school in Nanning and one high school in Chongzuo,tantalizing to discover the connection among the involvement of high school parents,their kids’ academic emotions and academic achievement.Based on one analysis of the 499 cases,it is safe to conclude that :1.the positive high level awaken academic emotions of high school students remains on a relatively obvious status,while their positive low level awaken academic emotions and negative high level awaken academic emotions stay in the middle.In contrast,their negative low level awaken academic emotions is observed on a lower-middle level.2.Parental involvement of high school students is in the lower middle level,the impact of the the following factors influencing the students’ academic achievement is ranked in a decreasing importance,including decision participation,parental education,being taken care of,home tutoring,communication between families and schools,emotions to attend school activities and participation in community activities.3.One’s parental involvement is positively correlated to his academic achievement.In this process,the importance of factors influencing the students’ academic performance is ranked on a decreasing sequence,including parental education,being taken care of,voluntary participation in school activities,participating community activities and communication between schools andfamilies.Also,it is discovered that one’s parental involvement is positively correlated to both his positive high level awaken academic emotions and his positive low level awaken academic emotions.4.One’s positive high level awaken academic emotions plays as the only bridge between their parental involvement and their academic achievement,while his positive low level awaken academic emotions only explains the above correlation partially.Therefore,in the future,parents and educators should pay attention to the role of parental involvement in improving adolescents’ academic achievements,actively participate in parent vocational education,pay attention to the influence of academic emotions in learning,and strengthen the guidance of emotion regulation strategies for students. |
