Under the background of rapid development and sharp change of vocational education in our country,secondary vocational education is facing opportunities and challenges.As a result of college expansion,the popularization of higher education and the increased national education level,the secondary vocational teachers become the most critical factor for how to cultivate the students in secondary vocational education to provide the society with quality graduates.Teachers are the primary and key resources for the development of secondary vocational education,the fundamental guarantee for the teaching quality of secondary vocational colleges,the important force for the cultivation of skilled and innovative professional talents to meet social needs,and the key factor supporting the reform of national vocational education in the new era.It is necessary to constantly improve the professional knowledge and practical ability of secondary vocational teachers,to build a scientific and reasonable training system for the professional development of secondary vocational teachers,to promote the continuous improvement of the comprehensive quality of secondary vocational teachers,to serve for training high-quality workers and technical skills.The quality improvement of secondary vocational education is closely related to the level of teachers in secondary vocational schools.Teacher training is an important way to promote the professional development of secondary vocational teachers.To understand the present situation of the secondary vocational teacher training,this study adopt the method of combination of questionnaire and interview,takes the full-time teachers,tutors and so on in Guangdong province secondary vocational schools as the research object,conducts a survey centering on the professional development of teacher training and makes a statistical analysis.And then the key problems affecting teacher training are therefore put forward.The problems include uneven training opportunities for teachers,needs of teacher optimization,too much theory teaching,lack of training effectiveness and so on.The content of teacher professional development needs,learning form requirements and environmental requirements are clarified.In view of the existing secondary vocational teachers professional development training,as well as the problems of secondary vocational teachers’ professional development training needs,secondary vocational teachers’ professional development training system construction strategy is proposed,mainly including four aspects of content,respectively is: first,theimprovement of the level 3 of secondary vocational teachers’ professional development training system needs to improve the tertiary level,provincial culture and school-based training management,to coordinate the training content,to identify training objectives for different training levels,to establish standard teacher training personnel selection criteria,to perfect the conducting of training project,to perfect selection criteria to undertake the training institutions;Second,improve the content of professional development training for secondary vocational teachers,mainly including the following aspects: improve the relevance of the training content,enhance the teaching practicality of the training content,clarify the importance of teacher ethics training,highlight the vocational education of the training content;Third,improve the way of professional development training for secondary vocational teachers,including reasonable arrangement of training time,actively carry out training results sharing activities,establish school-enterprise joint training mode,improve the "double-qualified" teacher team training and school-based training;Fourthly,the evaluation method of secondary vocational teacher training should be improved,the evaluation of training subjects at all levels should be clarified,the evaluation of training institutions should be carried out,and the evaluation of participants should be effectively managed.In order to improve the training system of vocational teachers’ professional development and enhance their professional level to enhance their professional development awareness,based on the research and analysis of the current situation of vocational teacher training,the following three Suggestions are put forward: first,to improve secondary vocational teachers’ participation motivation,teachers need to set up the consciousness of lifelong learning,the support of teachers’ participation needs to be strengthened,the training content design needs to be perfected;Second,expand the scope of participants to include teachers and teaching assistants in the training.Thirdly,improve the guarantee of training conditions,including perfecting relevant policies and regulations,increasing the investment of funds,and establishing the supervision system of training activities. |
