Children are natural scientists,driven by natural curiosity and exploration to understand and explore the world,and nature offers endless opportunities for children to discover and learn.The right model of education should be to create a rich environment for children,but also a changing,diverse and dynamic ecosystem.Educational Ecology is concerned with the sustainable development of the educated,and emphasizes the cooperation among the systems in a holistic and dynamic way.In the system of educational ecology,this paper explores the effects of various educational ecological factors on the development of children,and explores the theme activities of kindergarten from this new perspective.Based on the theory of Educational Ecology,this paper makes an on-the-spot investigation in Y kindergarten by using the methods of observation,interview and case analysis,collecting kindergarten activity cases,recording children’s daily life,integrating available natural resources and other ways,analyzing and drawing lessons from the contents conducive to the construction of "close to nature" theme activities,this paper makes a practical study on the setting of objectives,the selection of contents,the implementation and evaluation of educational activities in Y kindergarten.Based on the design and implementation of the theme activity of "close to nature" in Y kindergarten,this paper explores how young children participate in the theme activity of "close to nature" on the basis of respecting children’s learning style and characteristics,to fully explore the educational value of nature,to create opportunities for children to come into contact with nature,understand nature and explore nature,and to support children to explore and discover nature by themselves,to find their own fun in games and to solve their own problems,enrich life experience to promote its sustainable development.Based on the analysis of observation records and interview materials,the completion of practical research has become the experience and material basis of this study.It is proposed that teachers should strengthen their ecological literacy,attach importance to the all-rounddevelopment of young children and create various activities,suggestions on enriching children’s life experience,paying attention to the relationship between environment and promoting children’s dynamic growth.The process of children getting close to nature is not only a way for children to cognizant the world and construct themselves,but also a process for children’s nature to be displayed,and at the same time,it also conveys a new educational idea for kindergarten,family and community.
