| Career change teachers are an indispensable part of the preschool teachers.Their professional life shows the process of their self-development and self-improvement.To explore the professional life of teachers is conducive to in-depth understanding and promote their professional development.However,there are many contradictions in the professional development of the career change teacher in kindergartens at present,such as the lack of consciousness of independent development,the conflict between professional survival needs and development needs,and so on.Therefore,this study takes kindergarten career change teachers as the research object,investigates the current situation of their professional life,finds out what factors affect it,and strives to find corresponding strategies to improve the professional life of kindergarten career change teachers,thereby promoting the professionalism and growing up.This study uses questionnaire survey,interview and observation method to describe and analyze the professional life of the kindergarten career change teacher.First of all,the overall characteristics of kindergarten career change teachers’ professional life are investigated.It is found that the situation of professional life of kindergarten career change teachers is good,in general;it is basically at the level of survival needs and growth needs;the area of the campus,the monthly salary income level,and the reasons for changing career are significantly related to the total professional life of career change teachers in kindergartens.Secondly,the advantages and problems of the professional life of the career change teacher in kindergartens are analyzed.It is reported that the advantages of professional life of them are higher education level and better learning ability;they have relatively solid education skills and strong field activity ability;their knowledge structure is diversified,which helps to realize the complementary advantages in scientific research.Their interpersonal relationship is coordinated,and the atmosphere of professional life is relatively harmonious.However,there are still some problems:in terms of professional life attitudes,they have a low sense of job accomplishment and unsteady belief in employment;in education and teaching life,their educational concepts and behaviors are inconsistent,and there is still a tendency to primary school;in terms of professional learning,they have low initiative in learning and low awareness of cooperative learning;their professional qualities need to be improved in education and research life,and lack of external support;in the management of professional life,they lack systematic planning and management,and career planning is vague.On this basis,through further analysis,it is found that the teachers’ own motivations,professional accomplishments and professional development awareness will affect their professional life.In terms of external factors,the management system,professional guidance,and social culture of the kindergarten and education administration departments will also affect the professional life of teachers who are transferred to kindergartens.Finally,this study puts forward strategies to improve the professional life of kindergarten career change teachers from the aspects of individual teachers and external support.On the one hand,career change teachers in kindergartens should actively adjust themselves and treat transfers correctly;they should pay attention to transformative learning and improve the practical ability of education and teaching;enhance their professional development initiative and do a good job of professional life management.On the other hand,in order to meet the survival needs of career change teachers,we should improve the level of salary and welfare;we should perfect the management system of kindergartens and attach importance to the humanistic care of career change teachers;besides,it is necessary to give play to their professional leading role and improve the scientific research level of teachers;we also need to change the concept of kindergarten teachers in society and enhance their professional identity. |
