| Since the birth of basketball and its spread in China,the core of the development of the Chinese basketball team has been center players.The centers have an obvious function both on offense and defense.But when the great center player like Yao Ming,Wang Zhizhi retire.The Chinese basketball team’s strength has declined significantly.This article studies the second Basketball World Cup men ’s game,analyzes and studies the relevant data of the Chinese team from both offensive and defensive perspectives by watching the content of the Chinese team’s matches,so as to clarify the differences between Chinese players and players from other countries Provide relevant information for the training of Chinese men’s basketball team,and provide a theoretical basis for reserve talents.During the research and analysis,this article takes the second Basketball World Cup men’s game as a sample,and uses a variety of research methods,such as video observation method,logical analysis method and literature data method,to analyze and research from two aspects of offense and defense Relevant data of the Chinese team and draw the following conclusions:1.In terms of applying offensive technique,Chinese centers strand in several problems such as low amount of receiving ball by fiercely battling with body trunk in paint region,furthermore,low success rate of competing for advantage position while fighting with strong confrontation capability rival.Chinese players make most of their choice to pass after they receive the ball from teammates which means they may be lack of awareness of actively attacking;Or they could only utilize simple way of shooting,especially being poor in shooting from mid-range.Besides,ability of breakthrough is at low level,proportion of follow up shooting is low;although the number of offensive rebound is ahead of opponent,the way of fighting for ball is simplex,the enthusiasm of battling is poor.The way of tackling post rebound is single.Also,there emerges a dilemma that Chinese players may have trouble with free throw when they get exhausted.Chinese centers score over half of the entire team,which is contrasting for rivals.2.In terms of pick and roll,screen,Chinese centers are unable to set high qualified cover,which leads few attacking opportunity,and they are poor in finding out where there is an offensive chance for them.3.In terms of assist technique,Chinese centers sometimes pass the ball without purpose,or has no ability to capture the right moment when to pass,which may result in that teammates couldn’t get the ball as soon as they have sought a wide open.4.In terms of applying defensive technique,Chinese centers are worse in stealing than opponent,but better in blocking and defensive rebound.Moreover,they have to enhance their ability to struggle post position for rebound.Chinese center will show up their better ability of help defense than rival with one on one defense being played,but show lower efficacy with zone defense.Also,they may have difficulty in defensive position choosing,always along with neglecting moving on weak side.5.In terms of controlling foul,the average foul of each game made by Chinese centers are all more than opponent,for reason of making inappropriate use of defensive technique,on defensive side,players foul much more than rival due to lacking of experience and confrontation capability gap.In addition,there are a number of other issue such as being unprecise of judging offensive strategy,being impatient of defense,fouling without definite purpose. |
