The Tennis Grand Slam attracted the world’s top professional players with their rich game points and bonuses. In recent years, there have been newcomers on the professional Women’s tennis courts in the world, and the technical and tactical characteristics have been constantly changing and improving, but most players have difficulty outputting stable performances, leading to frequent changes of Women’s singles champions.Women’s winning rules are more complicated than Men’s.Nowadays, there are still rules to follow in the use of techniques and tactics in Women’s singles competitions. No predecessor has made analysis and research from a more in-depth perspective. In this article, through the literature method, video observation method and mathematical statistics method, the 2017-2018 four tennis open women’s singles champions(Serena Williams,Jelena Ostapenko,Garbine Muguruza,Sloane Stephens, and Caroline Wozniacki,Simona Halep,Angelique Kerber,(?)saka Naomi.)The comparative analysis of the characteristics of techniques and tactics, summed up the common rules and personality characteristics of the top Women’s players, and concluded the following:1.In terms of serve, the average double error rate of the eight players is higher than the ACE rate. The first serve is dominated by the inner corners, including 46% in the right area and 52% in the left area. The second serve and the scoring rate are mainly based on the inner corner and the middle road, and the tactical selection in the left zone is more rigorous. The eight players have different scoring rates at different service points.2.On return of serve, the average winning rate of the eight champion players is generally higher than that of other professional players, and only one player of Wozniacki scores lower than the average. The players received and delivered points mainly on the middle, and the opponents were second in backhand pressure.Among them,Ostapenko’s return point was deeper.Williams Jr.is closer to the net than other players.3.In the analysis of the usage rate of batting techniques, the eight players are mainly based on forehand, backhand and sideways attack techniques, and the usage rate of cutting technique is low.The scoring rate and the number of bats at different stages are slightly different due to different player characteristics. The trend of overall hitting bat counts of the three types of courts is the same, the highest in the second beat, and then decreasing in sequence. The average number of batting bats of the eight players is generally less than six,of which Williams Jr.is the shortest, only 3.7.At different stages of hitting the ball, the priority is to return to the opponent’s midfield and backhand position. The average score of the eight players before the net is over60%.4.The overall technical and tactical level of excellent professional female players is in a state of entanglement and alternation. The technical and tactical characteristics and advantages of the eight players are different. From the data point of view, there is no single technical tactic that has an absolute impact on the result of the game. The winning situation is more dependent on the player’s level of play on personal characteristics.
