| Object: This study hopes to compare the effects of equal BCAA combined with glucose supplementation on EIMD-related indicators after one-time eccentric exercise at two different timings,and determine the optimal timing of BCAA combined with glucose supplementation from the perspective of EIMD repairing.Methods: Fifteen male college students were recruited and randomly divided into experimental group(BCAA+G)and control group(PLA).The two groups were randomly divided into two groups: the pre-supplement group and the post-supplement group.Each group of 4 subjects supplied BCAA+G or placebo before exercise 30 min,and the other subjects supplied BCAA+G or placebo after exercise immediately.In the supplement design,the experimental group: BCAA+G capsule(40mg/kg)and glucose solution(24mg/kg,300 ml solution);blank group: Equal calorie starch capsules.The agent was exchanged for a two-week experiment by exchanging the supplement program one week later.The protocol of exercise intervention included95%1RM seated leg curl machine training,Drop-jump movement and The maximum strength continuous 20 m frog jump.Using Visual Analogue Scale method to measure the degree of delayed onset muscle soreness(DOMS)at 30 min after exercise,24 h after exercise and 48 h after exercise;We measured all subjects’ serum C-reactive protein(CRP),serum interleukin-6(IL-6)levels,serum Cortisol(Cor)and Creatine kinase(CK)at resting before exercise,30 min after exercise,24 h after exercise and48 h after exercise point.Measuring serum Insulin(INS)at resting before exercise,30 min after exercise.Measuring urine 3-methylhistidine(3-MH)in th morning before and after exercise.Results:(1)The VAS score,serum CRP and serum IL-6 values of the subjects were significantly increased at 24 h after one-time eccentric exercise(p<0.01)compared with baseline values in the PLA group.The Ck values of the subjects were significantly increased at 24 h and 48 h after one-time eccentric exercise(VAS p<0.01)compared with baseline values in the PLA group.(2)BCAA+G supplementation significantly reduced VAS scores and levels of serum CK,CRP,IL-6,3-MH,Cor(p <0.05)compared with PLA group.Compared with the BCAA-Pre group,the VAS score,levels of 3-MH CK,CRP and IL-6 at 24 h after one-time eccentric exercise were significantly lower in the BCAA-Post group(p<0.05),and there was no significant difference in levels of Cor,INS,between the groups(p>0.05).Conclusion: One-time high-intensity eccentric exercise can cause muscle soreness with increased levels of IL-6,CRP.Compared with pre-exercise supplementation,the supplement of BCAA combined with glucose supplement immediately after exercise can repair the acute eccentric exercise enduced muscle damage(EIMD)in the short-term after exercise. |
