A Study On The Reform Of Private Colleges Governance Structure In The Case Of F College In Fujian Province

With the rapid development of the national economy,China’s economic and social reform continues to develop.In order to meet the diverse needs of higher education,the private higher education in China has been developed,which has become the important growth point and the important force to promote education reform".Because it is still in the initial stage of development,there are many private colleges and universities in the existence of the concept of running a school,the management is not standardized,the teachers are relatively weak,the lack of protection of the rights and interests of teachers and students,etc..To solve these problems,we need to construct a reasonable structure,well defined power and responsibility,separation of powers and checks and balances,orderly operation,executive,the interior governance structure of private universities,the effective implementation of the board under the leadership of principal responsibility system.In the analysis of the nature and properties of private colleges,and based on the theory of the separation of ownership and management right,principal agent,stakeholder and so on,this paper believes that if the private colleges and universities adhere to the public interest requirements,it should be established as a non-profit organization to reform.At the same time,through comprehensive use of literature review,empirical analysis,and focus on the investigation of private colleges and universities in Fujian province,case analysis and international comparison of the mode,this paper of civilian run colleges and universities of internal governance structure were systematic study,and puts forward reform ideas,namely the construction of the board of directors to exercise decision-making power,the school will exercise the power of administrative management,Party committee in the governance level exercising the right of supervision,among the three trinity of governance structure.To this end,we should establish and improve the legal person property system in private colleges and universities.Secondly,we should strengthen the supervision of private colleges and universities.Third,strengthen the supervision and control of private colleges and universities.strengthen the supervision and control of private colleges and universities through clear administrative power and academic power.Fourth,to build up the internal supervision system of private universities with Chinese characteristics.
