Grass-roots workers in our country have devoted precious time and painstaking efforts to the construction of socialist modernization,and their physical and mental health need to be cared for by the whole society.The participation of grass-roots civil servants improves the working ability,innovation level and the effects of power.The Communist Party of China has passed its centenary.The Sixth Plenary Session of the19 th CPC Central Committee,published the "ten clarifications",requiring to construct beautiful socialist country,adhere to advanced governance concepts and models,manage with stricter standards and promote the progresses for all human beings.We constantly have new requirements and wishes for grass-roots civil servants,we can not ignore their development of physical and mental health.Grass roots civil servants are the backbone of the government to implement specific affairs.Their working abilities and efficiency are closely related to the demands and interests of everyone.In addition,they are facing with arduous work tasks and the pressure of assessments from superior departments.If they have unrealistic goals for themselves,lack effective communication skills or organizational supports,they will suffer from physical discomforts and bad mentality inevitably,which will lead to serious problems,such as the decline of governance ability and operation efficiency.In order to promote the efficiency of management and realize the construction of a modern socialist country.It is urgent to find effective ways to improve the adaptability and stress tolerance for their physical and mental health.As an endogenous motivation,public service motivation has entered the third wave of research and application in the world.It can be used as a tool to promote the enthusiasm,improve the management capacity and efficiency,play a vital role to participate the management.This paper is researching on the influence of public service motivation on job burnout,analyzing the connections between these two factors,in order to find the methods to reduce job burnout from a new perspective.Introducing the self efficacy and career calling as the mediators to explore their mechanism in the process of influence.This research use the method of combining questionnaire analysis and interview.Based on the study of 320 grass-roots civil servants in City S of Province A.It is found that job burnout shows differences in demographic variables,such as gender,age,political status and marital status et al.Public service motivation has a significant negative impact on job burnout,and negatively predicts job burnout in attraction to public policy making.Therefore,it is supposed that individuals should improve their skills and promote the participation in the provision of public services,cultivating compassion and the spirit of self dedication;enhancing the commitment to the public interest and stimulating work investment and enthusiasm,pursuing innovative spirit,cultivating management ability and social competence;developing the sense of responsibility and promoting the selfefficacy and career calling to intervene and alleviate the job burnout. |
