Research On The Investigation And Prevention Of Crimes Infringing On Citizens’ Personal Information

With the development of information technology,the network has become an increasingly important source of information for people.While the network brings us convenience,it also causes the crime of infringing on citizens ’personal information in cyberspace.It has become the duty-bound responsibility of the public security organs to protect the security of citizens’ personal information.Under the background of the promulgation and implementation of the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China in 2021.When dealing with the crime of infringing on citizens’ personal information,we should analyze the characteristics and laws of this kind of crimes,and by analyzing the criminal pattern of the case,the root cause of such crimes should be found from the perspective of the perpetrator,the victim and the supervision.The crime of infringing on citizens’ personal information has the difficulties in collecting criminal clues,the difficulties encountered in advancing the investigation work and the difficulties in collecting and preserving the crimes,which requires the investigators to carry out effective countermeasures for such difficulties to crack down on such crimes.The main countermeasure is to broaden the source of clues and build a network reporting platform,and adapt the investigation mode to the new changes of crime.Secondly,strengthen the collection of evidence,break the traditional data limitations,strengthen electronic data collection;pay attention to peripheral evidence,support electronic data correlation.Finally,strengthen the prevention of crime infringement on citizens’ personal information,change the traditional investigation thinking,reasonably use the predictiveness of big data,build a professional investigation team,and strengthen the awareness of citizen information protection.Finally,we should achieve the purpose of killing crimes in the bud,safeguarding the security of citizens’ personal information,and form a pattern of equal importance to crackdown and prevention.
