Research On The Investigation Of Drug Trafficking Cases Through Network Delivery Channels

In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s posting and delivery industry,the use of "network + posting and delivery" channels to commit crimes such as drug trafficking has increased significantly.The supervision department of the post and delivery logistics industry involves multiple subjects.Relying only on the postal department for supervision will inevitably give consideration to one thing and lose the other.Therefore,many problems in the post and delivery industry,especially the delivery of contraband,have become a major weakness in the development of the industry.This paper will discuss from the following aspects: first,study the characteristics of drug trafficking cases through network delivery channels;Second,deeply analyze the difficulties existing in the investigation of drug trafficking cases through network delivery channels;Third,in view of the difficulties existing in the investigation,put forward their own opinions on the basis of the research of experts and scholars,that is,the investigation countermeasures.First of all,the online distribution of drug trafficking cases has the following characteristics: first,the drug trafficking problem is increasingly grim due to the development of international mail,domestic express industry and COVID-19.The second is to use the network and delivery channels to carry out drug trafficking crimes,which makes such crimes more hidden;Third,under the attack of China’s surrounding drug sources,foreign countries import drugs into China through multiple channels,while domestic delivery methods extending in all directions transport drugs to all parts of the country,showing the characteristics of cross-border and cross regional;Fourth,drug traffickers lose their humanity and use vulnerable groups,such as disabled persons,minors and women,to carry out drug trafficking through delivery channels.If we do not take effective measures to crack down,drug trafficking crimes in online delivery channels will become increasingly rampant,frequent cases will have an impact on the overwhelming effectiveness of drug control work formed for a long time,and the work pressure on the drug control department will be greater and greater.In the face of many problems and difficulties,the public security organs should grasp the characteristics of drug trafficking cases in the network delivery channels,monitor all links of the delivery process,deeply analyze the current investigation difficulties,and formulate targeted investigation countermeasures: First,do a good job in intelligence work,accurately study and judge drug trafficking information,and dig deep investigation clues along the line.Use big data technology and face recognition technology to build an information network and strengthen information work.Secondly,broaden the channels of electronic evidence collection and continuously improve the evidence collection ability of public security organs.Thirdly,strengthen the trajectory analysis of drug trafficking gang members and comprehensively crack down on drug trafficking gang networks.Thirdly,the anti drug department should strengthen cooperation with postal administration departments and financial institutions to form a strong strike force.Finally,we should be good at using artificial intelligence technology to explore new ways to save time and effort and save investigation cost.
