Interrogation is the investigation of the suspect’s confession and justification by verbal means,and is an important part of criminal proceedings.As the main body of interrogation,in order to efficiently complete the task of interrogation,which is both legal and technical,investigators must have corresponding competencies,such as solid knowledge reserve,skilled professional skills,the ability to support interrogation and communication,calm and confident personality traits,etc.based on this,the author uses the competency theory,constructs the competency model of interrogation of investigators through empirical investigation,and preliminarily investigates the current situation of competency,Offer advice and suggestions for the improvement of the competency of investigators.The text of this paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an overview.On the premise of clarifying the research background of this paper,this part introduces the research status inside and outside the field.The research shows that there are few research results on the personal conditions of investigators’ competence for interrogation in China,the research method is single,and there is a large theoretical gap.Therefore,on the basis of analyzing the relevant concepts,this part reasonably defines the professional competence of investigators’ interrogation,and then explains the research ideas and methods of this paper,Pave the way for empirical research.The second part is the construction of competency element item pool.This part collects relevant documents and interviews with investigators with rich interrogation experience,analyzes and refines the documents and interview texts,obtains the professional competency elements of investigators’ interrogation,and further improves the entry pool of competency elements after criticizing the competency requirements of detectives and criminal investigators by the more mature professional competency management system abroad.A total of 42 professional competency elements of investigators’ interrogation were obtained through various paths,which provided the premise for follow-up questionnaire survey and data analysis.The third part is the establishment and application of competency model.This part has carried out a questionnaire survey of a certain scale,and conducted factor analysis on the questionnaire data.After deleting the competency elements with insufficient discrimination,the remaining 35 competency elements are classified into five competency dimensions to form a clear structure of the competency model of investigators’ interrogation,which is further analyzed and explained theoretically.It is considered that the competency of investigators’ interrogation consists of implicit attitude Personality traits,the professional quality of investigation and interrogation,as well as explicit skills and knowledge constitute an onion shaped hierarchical model.Then,based on the questionnaire tested and corrected by factor analysis,the current situation of the competency of investigators in interrogation was investigated.It was found that the competency of investigators in empathy,listening ability,application of interrogation scientific and technological means and knowledge reserve was poor and needed to be improvedThe fourth part is the improvement countermeasures and suggestions.Based on the problems found in the investigation of the current situation of the competence of investigators,this part puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to improve the competence,so as to make the theoretical research serve the practice of interrogation. |
