The ubiquitous presence of media in modern society has made media influence not only in the field of news and media,but also in all aspects of society through the power of media,and the whole society has become a mediated society and undergone structural transformation around media.The legal system has become mediated legal communication while using media resources for legal communication.Short-form video legal communication is the media practice of legal system’s legal communication through short-form video media resources,in which media metaphor and legal logic are interwoven.Based on the theory of mediaization,this article takes the short video on popularization of law as the research object,takes "Luo Xiang Speaks Criminal Law" as a typical representative for case analysis,and mainly discusses the characteristics of short video on popularization of law,the analysis of mediaization of short video on popularization of law,and the analysis of problems and countermeasures in three parts.The first part discusses the characteristics of short videos and the advantages of short videos for the popularization of law.Short videos for the popularization of law have the characteristics of short time,small perspective,low understanding difficult y and high participation,and the use of short videos for the popularization of law has the advantages of intensive dissemination of legal information,interesting dissemination of legal knowledge and subtle cultivation of legal emotion.The second part is a media analysis of the typical case "Luo Xiang Speaks on Criminal Law".On the one hand,we explain the reasons for choosing "Luo Xiang Speaks Criminal Law" as the representative of short video legal literacy communication,and select the video sample to prepare for the media analysis in the following;on the other hand,we analyze the mediaization of the transmitter,the mediaization of the law and the mediaization of the audience mainly from the dual interaction of media logic and legal logic,etc.From the distribution of content topics,the transmitter combines legal In terms of the distribution of content topics,the transmitter combines legal and mediated intellectuals;in terms of content presentation,legal mediatisation presents a combination of legal analysis and legal debugging;in terms of content dissemination,the mediated participation of the audience jointly constitutes the characteristics of short video legal dissemination under the role of mediatisation.The third part analyzes the possible problems and countermeasures brought by the mediatisation of transmitters,laws and audiences.The problems of value bias brought about by the mediatisation of transmitters,fragmentation brought about by the mediatisation of law,and general entertainment brought about by the mediatisation of audiences are to a large extent brought about by the characteristics of the media.Through the analysis of the mediatization of short videos on legal literacy,we can find that the law has been invariably influenced by the mediatization in the process of dissemination through the media,rather than being able to carry out the dissemination of legal literacy according to the logic of the law alone,but the power of the mediatization does not mean that the logic of the media completely suppresses the logic of the law,and the two sides show a two-way interaction.
