China has a long history of museum development,with a great variety and quantity of collections,which are of inestimable value and reflect the long history and splendid culture of the Chinese nation,it plays an irreplaceable role in carrying forward the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,providing public cultural services for the public and promoting the common prosperity of the People’s spiritual life.Since the 18 th National Congress of the CPC,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.In order to meet the requirements of the new era,it is urgent to solve the problems existing in the development of museums in China.Strengthening the public education function of Museums is also an important channel to promote the common prosperity of people’s spiritual life.Hebei Museum is a provincial-level Comprehensive Museum,Patriotic Education Demonstration Base,the National First-level Museum,in Hebei Province has a strong representation.Based on the theory of Knowledge Fermentation,the theory of New Public Service and the theory of synergetic governance,the research object of this thesis is the Hebei Museum,the main contents are the problems of the public education function of Hebei Museum,the causes of the problems and the promotion path.First of all,this thesis introduces the present situation of the public education function of Hebei Museum from aspects of polishing the name cards of Public Exhibition,building the public education brand,constructing the museum + School Education Platform,providing cultural and creative products and services,enhancing the educational function of voluntary service,and strengthening the online cloud service.Secondly,by using the methods of literature analysis,on-the-spot interview and questionnaire survey,the author concludes that the Public Education Function of Hebei Museum is not attractive to the public,and the technology of exhibition is single.Thirdly,combined with relevant theories,this thesis makes a deep and systematic analysis on the causes of the existing problems from six aspects,such as the promotion space of humanized public service idea,the function of innovative public education to be promoted,and the non-systematization of diversified cooperation.Finally,from the eight aspects of perfecting the establishment of institutions,carrying out public education activities with an open mind,strengthening the building of a contingent of talents,developing cultural and creative products and services,intensifying publicity and promotion efforts,obtaining multi-channel financial support,and keeping up with the pulse of the new era,to provide a feasible way for improving the public education function of Hebei Museum.Although this thesis is based on the study of the Hebei Museum,the Construction and development of the Hebei Museum is of great significance to other museums in the province as it is a typical representative of the Hebei Museum.The Hebei Museum not only attaches importance to learning from other regional museums,but also attaches importance to the experience of promoting the construction and development of museums in Hebei Province.The purpose of this study is to provide reference for the improvement of public education function of Hebei Museum and other museums in Hebei Province,and to provide more ideas for the improvement of public education level.
