| Since society is managed by the government,the question of how to treat the government’s image has always existed.At present,various stereotypes exist in the public’s perception of the image of the Northeast region.Since 2000,the two incidents,especially the "Shenyang Liuyong case" and the "Heilongjiang BMW case",have attracted widespread attention across the country.The handling of the incident also brought a serious crisis to its government media image.Studying the government media image in major public opinion events in the Northeast region can not only expand the related research results of government media image,but also help the positive construction of the government media image in the Northeast region and even its Northeast region image.Based on the "China Internet Public Opinion Analysis Report",the "Chinese Public Event Database" of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and the "Public Opinion Report" of Antfang Software,this research screened out six major public opinion events that occurred in the Northeast region.They are the "Tonggang Violence Incident" in Jilin(2008),the "A large number of shops closing incident" in Shenyang(2012),the "Warehouse Fire Incident"in Harbin(2015),the "Train Station Shooting Incident in Qing’an"(2015),"Xuexiang Zaike" incident(2017)and Changchun "longevity vaccine incident"(2018).In response to the above six incidents,nine news media including People’s Daily,China News Weekly,Jilin Daily,Liaoning Daily,Heilongjiang Daily,The Paper,Caixin,and Southern Weekend","Southern Metropolis Daily")243 news reports as the research object.From the image of government media in major public opinion events,and from the perspective of communication,we will analyze the media image of the government in the northeastern region during the period from 2008 to 2019 in the major public opinion events in Northeast China.results of the study found that the overall image of government media in the Northeast region presents a more responsible management image,a more open service image,a ruling image with credibility to be improved,and an organizational image with a lack of media literacy.Based on the reasons for the formation of the government media image,this study analyzes and summarizes the three levels of the Northeast regional government,social environmental changes and media reports.Finally,based on the analysis of the above three levels,the corresponding suggestions and promotion strategies are put forward from the two perspectives of the government and the media. |
