Xi Jinping’s History Thinking And Its Time Value

Any activity of cognition and practice can’t do without the guidance of scientific methods.Especially in people’s practical activities of understanding and transforming the world,it is not enough to be energetic.We must also master scientific thinking methods and know how to act according to laws.For our party,having a scientific way of thinking can not only provide rich theoretical nourishment for governing the country,but also an important ideological weapon for strengthening the party’s own construction.Xi Jinping stressed that if China’s party lacks scientific theoretical thinking to support it,it is very difficult for us to deal with risks and challenges on the way ahead,and we can not overcome all hardships and dangers,so we can not continue to advance the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Since th 18^thCPC National Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping took the lead in putting the scientific way of thinking into the administration of state affairs,and put forward a series of fruitful new ideas and new assertions,which played a good example and exemplary role for us.Historical thinking,as an important dimension of Xi Jinping’s socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era,advocates to put things in the long river of historical development.It advocates that China should better serve the reality and create the future on the basis of absorbing historical wisdom and grasping the historical rules.Xi Jinping pointed out that we should not forget history to open up the future and be good at inheriting to innovate.Therefore,studying Xi Jinping’s historical thinking is of great value for upholding and developing socialism with Chinese characteristics and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.This article takes Xi Jinping’s historical thinking as the main thread,and focuses on the related concepts of historical thinking,the importance and cultivation of historical thinking,the main manifestation of historical thinking,and the time value of historical thinking.It reveals profoundly the theoretical logic,conservation approach,ideological connotation and time value of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking.The first chapter is the introduction.Through systematic research and combing the relevant literature,the basic situation of the topic is explained.First of all,it clarifies the reasons for choosing Xi Jinping’s historical thinking as research topic.It points out that studying Xi Jinping’s historical thinking is of great significance to resist historical nihilism,enrich Marx’s development,enhance historical thinking ability,and help China’s socialist construction with Chinese characteristics.Furthermore,it systematically studies and summarizes the research status of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking at home and abroad,determines the research direction of this paper,reveals the difficulties and innovations of this study,and explains the main methods of the research.The second chapter is the meaning of historical thinking and the formation of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking.Above all,on the basis of explaining what is historical thinking,we reveal the theoretical essence of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking.What’s more,it expounds the development of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking,mainly from three aspects:historical thinking contained in China’s traditional culture,historical thinking of Marx’s classic writers and China’s Communists’inheritance of historical thinking.The third chapter is about Xi Jinping’s importance and cultivation of historical thinking.This chapter is divided into two parts:the first part expounds the importance of historical thinking.This part mainly excavates Xi Jinping’s exposition on the importance of historical thinking from the original text of Xi Jinping’s speech.The second part explores the ways of cultivating historical thinking.According to Xi Jinping’s theory,it mainly cultivates historical thinking from studying Chinese history,party history and national history,socialist development history and world history.The fourth chapter is the main manifestation of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking.This chapter divides the ideological connotation of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking into four dimensions for analysis and research,that is,Xi Jinping’s historical thinking on historical subjects,historical evaluation,cultural self-confidence and"three major laws",and is committed to grasping the essence of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking as comprehensively as possible.The fifth chapter is the time value of Xi Jinping’s historical thinking.This paper argues that it is conducive to resist historical nihilism;to enrich and develop Marxism;to enhance the"four self-confidence";to enhance the historical thinking ability of college students;to adhere to the direction of socialism with Chinese characteristics;and to help realize the Chinese dream.Generally speaking,Xi Jinping’s historical thinking has very important theoretical value and realistic value.
