With the development of artificial intelligence technology,the driverless car industry has become an important highland for the development of the country’s strategic emerging industries.Currently,it has entered the stage of industrial development and implementation.The development of driverless car industry is of great practical significance for improving China’s comprehensive national strength and strengthening sustainable development.It is an important guarantee for the development of China’s driverless car industry to formulate a reasonable development strategy based on China’s national conditions and technical characteristics of driverless cars.Developed countries in the us and Europe developed their driverless car industry earlier than China and have already realized the marketization of some industries.These countries have deployed a large number of patents in China and have made preparations and arrangements for future industrial development.Based on the patent information,this paper studies the technological development of driverless automobile industry at home and abroad,and provides a reference for the development strategy of driverless automobile industry in China.This paper uses international patent classification and keyword retrieval to collect patent data,and based on the comparative analysis of patent data,studies the technological development of driverless automobile industry at home and abroad.Research shows that China’s self-driving car industry technology development 2-3 years later than foreign development,in recent years in the sensing,computing platforms,algorithm integration,vehicle control,automotive communications,unmanned operation and so on six big domain has made certain progress,industrial technology development is rapid,industry chain gradually improve,but the low industrial concentration,no forming technology firms.Patents at home and abroad on the basis of comparative analysis,strategy evaluation model is set up,self-driving car industry in China is analyzed,from the government level,industry level and enterprise level and micro technology for China’s self-driving car industry technology development strategy Suggestions: improve the leadership and organization development to determine the different stages of technology development route,set up a research support funds,to form the core algorithm of industry alliance,building a litigation assistance,choose evaluation of outstanding technical talent,increasing the financial input in technology innovation,improve the consciousness of patent layout,speed up the patent alliance construction and speed up the patent into the standard,etc.
