Study On China’s Humanistic Diplomacy To ASEAN

Humanistic diplomacy is an innovative diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and an important complement to China’s peripheral diplomacy.With "The Belt and Road" initiative and "A Community of Shared Future for Mankind" concept,ASEAN’s strategic position has been further enhanced,and deepening China’s strategic partnership with ASEAN is becoming more and more important to China.In the 21 st century,the world situation has undergone profound changes,and soft power has become a key driving force for the development of international relations.In the complicated situation at home and abroad,China’s humanities diplomacy to ASEAN has not only made great achievements,but also has many shortcomings.Therefore,how to strengthen the humanistic diplomacy between China and ASEAN,and further deepen the strategic partnership between China and ASEAN,is worth in-depth discussion in the academic circle.This paper aims to strengthen China’s humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN and further develop the friendly relations between the two sides.Based on the theory of humanistic diplomacy,this paper probes into the issues related to China’s humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN.This paper will be divided into five parts to discuss:The first part elaborates the theory of humanistic diplomacy in detail.This part aims to lay a theoretical foundation for the following analysis of China’s humanistic diplomacy towards ASEAN.The second part discusses the significance of deepening China’s humanities diplomacy to ASEAN.This part analyzes the practical significance of deepening China’s humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN from the three aspects: people-to-people exchanges,political mutual trust,economic and trade cooperation.The third part explores the progress of China’s humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN.This part focuses on summarizing and analyzing the achievements of China’s cultural diplomacy with ASEAN in the fields of culture,education,film and television media and tourism.The fourth part analyzes the problems and causes in the progress of China’s humanities diplomacy to ASEAN.The correlational analysis provides directions and ideas for countermeasures and suggestions in the fifth part.The fifth part puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to strengthen China’s humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN.On the basis of the above text,this part puts forward feasible suggestions for China to strengthen humanistic diplomacy to ASEAN in the future from the four aspects: cooperation mechanism,subject diversity,object demand and innovative content and methods.
