The establishment of the electronic signature law has given digital foundations the basis for using digital methods to conduct business legal relationships,enabling e-commerce relationships to develop;the decentralized design of blockchain technology in 2016 reversed the contemporary thinking based on centralized management models,However,whether it can be successfully developed and implemented for commercial transactions must first clarify whether it conforms to the digital methods recognized by the current electronic signature law and has legal effect.The legal relationship established on this basis has legal basis.The international electronic signature law adopts the principle of technology neutrality,and the flexible structure is in response to the new characteristics of information technology.The blockchain and the current electronic signature technology overlap,so this article starts with a review of the blockchain technology,and uses the common technology used by the two-the public key encryption algorithm as the main axis,to discuss the US and EU electronic signature law specifications.The three core concepts of electronic signature definition,central certificate authority operation mode and responsibility specification,and time stamping are used to explore whether the blockchain technology is compatible with the standard model under the current electronic signature law,and propose related amendments in order to Quickly clarify disputes over the legal validity of blockchain technology to facilitate future development of fintech.
