"Di Fan" And The Political Thought Of Emperor Taizong In Tang Dynasty

As an important work of Tang Taizong Li Shimin,"Di Fan" contains Tang Taizong’s political experience and governing philosophy,which has important research value for the political and ideological history of the early Tang Dynasty.The book takes the Confucian political ideal of "kingly way" as its theoretical design and political reality as its starting point.This paper explores the main content of emperor fan from the perspective of political thought,and the specific political operation in the period of Tang Taizong in turn confirmed his political thought.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part introduces the number of articles,writing purpose,writing characteristics and the internal relationship between the articles,and briefly introduces the spread of "Di fan".It not only quotes a large number of historical allusions about the success or failure of the political practice of the dynasties before the Tang Dynasty,but also evaluates the historical events and historical figures on the premise of taking history as a mirror,and outlines an ideal image of the ancient monarch.The second part mainly analyzes the ideological connotation of "Di fan",from the perspective of historical development,expounds the source of "Di fan" thought and the inheritance and development of the previous generation of political thought and concept.Among them,there is the "model politics" culture which has higher requirements for the monarch’s morality since the pre Qin period;It also integrates the ancient concept of the unity of heaven and man and the patriarchal clan system that attaches importance to blood relatives;There is also the internal relationship between the idea of valuing the people and economy,education,folk customs,etc;It is also influenced by the kingly politics of the concept of "great unification" and adheres to the idea of ruling the country with Confucianism as the main part and integrating Taoism and law.And these aspects are reflected in the book "Di fan".The third part,combined with the system and related political affairs during the reign of Emperor Taizong,further analyzes the fit degree of political thought and political practice of Emperor Taizong,and basically confirms that "Di fan" is a theoretical summary and a summary of governance experience based on his political practice.
