Research On Public Responsibility Of State-owned Enterprises

The unique status of state-owned enterprises determines the significance of the assumption of public responsibility by state-owned enterprises.Judging from the overall situation in which state-owned enterprises have fulfilled their public responsibilities in recent years,the State Grid Corporation is one of the leading state-owned enterprises.It is an extremely large state-owned key backbone enterprise that has a bearing on the lifeblood of the national economy and the country’s energy security.It provides public goods and electricity.The performance of public responsibility is relatively good,and it is typical and replicable.Public responsibility of state-owned enterprises includes political responsibility,economic responsibility,social responsibility,environmental responsibility and moral responsibility.State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company is a subsidiary of the State Grid Corporation.Through the literature research method and empirical analysis method,the public product theory,government failure theory,and stakeholder theory are used to analyze the status quo of public responsibility of the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company.It is found that there are still problems such as low investment in social services,poor protection of consumer rights and interests,environmental pollution,and violation of employees legal rights and interests.The reason for this investigation is that the public responsibility consciousness of the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company is not strong,and the construction of the public responsibility system is lagging behind.Government supervision is absent.By enhancing the public responsibility consciousness of the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company,improving the internal governance level of the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company to perform public responsibilities,and strengthening the government’s supervision of the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company to perform public responsibilities,it can effectively improve the ability of the state State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company to perform public responsibilities.As a typical power supply company with geographical advantages,the State Grid Ezhou Power Supply Company provides a reference for the current public responsibility practice of state-owned enterprises.
