Research On Theories And Contemporary Values Of Marx’s Criticism Of Fetishism

Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism is a crucial part of Marxism,which has much worth being researched and discussed,not only in the core contents but also from contemporary values.Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism reveals the problem that human beings are manipulated and enslaved by objects,analyzes the reasons and pointed out the realistic path to get over fetishism.Accompanied with rapid development of China’s economy,people’s living standard is substantially improved.There is fetishism in our society during this progress,some people began to blindly worship commodities,currencies and capitals.It corrupts people’s mental life and jeopardizes establishment of correct values.The existence of fetishism is harmful to both individuals and the whole society.Therefore,it is necessary to eliminate fetishism phenomenon by Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism.This theory helps practice socialist core values and build a modern and powerful socialist country.This dissertation consists of four parts.The first part is about the social background and the origin of thought of Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism.The second part is logical development of Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism.The third part discusses basic contents and differences among commodity fetishism,currency fetishism and capital fetishism.On the basis of the discussion,it illustrates Marx’s realistic path to eliminate fetishism phenomenon.The last part explains contemporary values of Marx’s Criticism of Fetishism and points out the fetishism phenomenon and inevitability of it in our society.Then it comes up with the realistic path to eliminate fetishism in our country.
