Research On H Province Public Security Team Construction Based On Behavioral Science Theory

Based on the requirements of modernization of government governance system and capacity,under the background of comprehensively deepening reform of the public security system,considering the development and change of the environment,people have put forward higher requirements for the public security departments.Since the age structure and level of education of police forces are changing fast,the original management mechanism of police forces has been unable to meet the needs of the development of current public security situation in many aspects.To some extent such issues have hindered the sustainable development of the public security departments.Standardizing and professionalizing police forces are urgent and arduous.It is important for police forces to further enhance the comprehensive quality and to become active through further strengthening the construction of police forces,and improving the level of internal management.Among the preceding actions,it is necessary to study the practical application of theory of behavioral science in the construction of police forces so as to stimulate the vitality of police forces and improve work efficiency.This thesis has been written based on the theory of behavioral science and the research results of relevant scholars,through field research and questionnaire and other methods.The current situation of the police forces in H province was investigated,the ideological status of the police officers in H Province was analyzed,and the prominent issues in the construction of the police force in H Province was found out.The issues existing in the construction of the police forces in H province are mainly reflected in the work pressure,professional honor,professional accomplishment,ideological and political work,reform of organization and other aspects.By introducing various theories of behavioral science and using for reference the police-oriented education of professional ethics,and salary and welfare security adopted by police forces in developed countries and regions,this thesis has put forward the principles of strengthening the construction of police forces,in view of the existing issues in the public security departments in H province.This thesis puts forward countermeasures for the construction of police forces from the aspects of strengthening work measures,persisting in police-oriented thoughts,strengthening education and training,improving working methods and strengthening supervision and management.This thesis also makes exploration and assumption regarding perfecting the construction of the political work system of H provincial public security departments so as to strengthen the construction of the team.
