Research On The Evaluation Of Poverty Reduction Benefits Of Ecological Migration In Ningxia Province

Ecological fragility and poverty are generally considered to have a strong coupling relationship.Therefore.in ecologically fragile areas.traditional poverty alleviation methods are not effective."2001-2010,2011-2020 China Rural Poverty Alleviation and Development Outline" successively proposes that for those extremely poor objects in poor living conditions and concentrated contiguous areas,relocation should be implemented in conjunction with other poverty alleviation measures.Ningxia is a typical demonstration area for ecological migration across the country.From the "Three West" poverty alleviation practice to the ecological migration practice,as of the end of 2020,N ingxia has relocated 1.23 million people.accounting for 17.8%of the total population of the district.However,ecological migration does not have a short-term poverty reduction effect,and it takes a long time for its social and ecological benefits to appear.Therefore.it is very important to carry out long-term follow-up evaluation.This research has important theoretical and practical significance for enriching immigration theory and project evaluation theory,and improving the level of govermment public management.Taking Ningxia as an example,this research uses the measurement methods of difference-in-difference(DID).fuzzy mathematics.ecological footprint,etc.from the macro and micro levels.the immigration area and the immigration area.Social and ecological benefits,evaluated the poverty reduction benefits of ecological migration in Ningxia.The structure of this article is as follows:Chapter 1 is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,purpose,significance,literature review.research ideas,methods.and innovations of this article:Chapter 2 is the theoretical basis and literature review.Firstly,it introduces the basic theories that this article relies on.such as push-pull theory.human capital theory,carrying capacity theory,sustainable development theory,etc.:secondly.defines the concepts of poverty and ecological migration;finally,related research on the evaluation of poverty reduction benefits A literature review was carried out;Chapter 3 is the overview of ecological miration in Ningxia,Mainly summarized from the history of ecological migration in Ninigxia,the status quo and characteristics of the migration area:Chapter 4 is indicators and data.constructing evaluation indicators for economic,social,and ecological benefits.and statistically describing basic data;Chapter 5 is the evaluation of economic benefits.The double difference method was used to evaluate the economic benefits of ecological migration.The research results show that ecological migration can significantly increase their income,especially operating income;Chapter 6 is the evaluation of social benefits.Fuzzy mathematics is used to evaluate the social benefits of ecological migration.The results of the study show that the level of social adaptation of rural households in the moving-in and moving-out areas is generally low.However,in comparison,the social adaptation status of the rural households in the relocation area is better:Chapter 7 is the evaluation of ecological benefits.The ecological footprint method is used to evaluate the ecological benefits of ecological migration.The results of the study show that the ecological conditions of the emigrated area are better than that of the emigrated area,indicating that the ecological resettlement project has a significant effect on ecological restoration:the influx of people in the emigrated area has increased the ecological pressure on the emigrated area.Chapter 8 is the general research conclusions and policy recommendations.First,it summarizes the research conclusions of economic,social and ecological benefits;secondly,on this basis,it puts forward targeted policy recommendations,and finally,prospects and deficiencies.
