An Empirical Study On Sexual Harassment Against Juveniles In City H

According to relevant data released by the Supreme People’s Procuratorate in 2019,cases of sexual assault against minors have been on the rise in recent years.Crimes of sexually assaulting minors will not only bring physical and psychological trauma to the victim,but also have other unpredictable and serious harm to the family and society.Nowadays,the attention and discussion on the crime of sexually assaulting minors is becoming more and more intense in the society.Despite such severe crime trends and public opinion attitudes,my country’s current prevention and control measures are still far from in place.Through a regional empirical investigation in City H,the data on criminal cases of sexual assault against minors prosecuted within the city were collected,sorted,counted,and analyzed.It is found that compared with the current situation,in this area,the perpetrators of sexual assaults against minors are mainly men,but there are also a small number of women participating in the same situation.In addition to a large number of underage women,there are still a small number of victims.Adult male victim.In addition,factors such as the perpetrator’s age,education level,legal awareness,occupation and economic status,the victim’s sexual cognition,and family atmosphere all have an impact on the formation of the crime.Based on the above empirical characteristics,the reasons for the crimes of sexual assault against minors in City H are analyzed from the aspects of law,economy,culture,education,and society.Finally,corresponding measures are proposed to reduce the crime of sexual assault against minors.From the perspectives of family and school,we should make efforts to improve the self-prevention ability of minors,and discuss the popularization of laws by the whole people from the perspective of strengthening social security.The establishment of a compulsory compensation system for sexual assault of minors,a compensation system for mental damage,and a compulsory psychological assistance system are used to improve judicial relief.And through the improvement of rape and indecent legislation,the integration of sexual assault crimes will be integrated into a separate subsection,the rape of men and women will be uniformly prohibited,special protection will be given to minors at the age of 14-18,and the crime of indecent assault will be improved.The relevant legislation of the People’s Republic of China has added the crime of indecency by persons with special duties,etc.,to strengthen the legal protection of the sexuality of minors.In addition,corresponding measures have been proposed to prevent and control sexual assault on minors.First,pass legislation on rape and indecent crimes,which will include the crimes of sexual assault in a special section,and implement uniform prohibitions on the rape of men and women,give special protection to minors between 14 and 18 years of age,and improve the crime of indecent assault.The relevant legislation of the People’s Republic of China has added the crime of indecency by persons with special duties,etc.,to strengthen the legal protection of the sexuality of minors.Secondly,the establishment of a compulsory compensation system for sexual assault of minors,a compensation system for mental damage,and a compulsory psychological assistance system to improve judicial relief.Then deepen the economic structure,narrow the income gap,and strengthen social security management to prevent crime.Finally,from the three angles of family,school education,and social culture,efforts are made to improve the self-prevention ability of minors.
