In modern society,everyone more or less needs to do business with banks,and the business scope of banks has gradually evolved from a single deposit and withdrawal service to today’s multi-functional and multi-channel services.In different types of financial transactions,the bank has mastered the customer’s personal account,related financial transactions,etc.,including information and data about the customer’s personal situation.In recent years,banking financial institutions have accumulated massive amounts of data such as customer data,transaction data,and external data in the course of rapid business development.Data has become an important asset and core competitiveness of banks.With the rapid development of China’s financial informatization,each bank has more customer resources in its business operations.These customer information resources are the most advantageous weapons in the competition of various banks,which can allow commercial banks to compete in fierce competition.Occupy a favorable position.As a financial service institution,commercial banks,while providing financial services to customers,also bear the obligations and responsibilities of protecting customer information.In recent years,the leakage of bank customer information has occurred continuously,which has led to more intense conflicts between banks and customers.As people’s legalawareness gradually increased,the people realized that they must use law to protect their legal rights.At present,China’s relevant legal systems,systems and mechanisms are not yet perfect,the legal concept of privacy protection is not yet mature,the construction of personal information protection legal systems is relatively lagging,and the bank’s internal customer information protection mechanism is not yet perfect,and it exists in customer information protection Obvious operational risk issues.For commercial banks,how to use customer information for business management in a reasonable and standardized manner is worthy of our further research and thinking.From the perspective of bank staff,the author of this article uses the methods of finding problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems,through empirical analysis research methods and comparative analysis research methods.Pros and cons,and at the same time put forward suggestions and countermeasures to improve the protection system of personal customers’ information in Chinese banks.
