| As the last line of defense for human rights protection in Hong Kong,the Hong Kong courts have maximized the protection of the basic rights of Hong Kong residents and have played an important role in the development of the human rights cause in Hong Kong.However,because the Hong Kong courts need to exercise judicial power on the basis of "one country,two systems" and "following the common law",the courts in Hong Kong have become too active in protecting the rights of citizens and political rights and in the economy and society.And the relative lack of protection of cultural rights and other issues.Hong Kong’s unique political and legal status means that Hong Kong courts need to cite the spirit of mutual restraint between the central and SAR mechanisms,the powers under the executive-led system,and the extraterritorial legal resources in accordance with the original intent of the Basic Law.To clarify and face up to the issue of economic and social rights and non-intervention in political issues,so as to solve related problems,thereby removing obstacles in the protection of Hong Kong’s basic rights and ensuring the full and comprehensive protection of Hong Kong residents’ basic rights to promote Hong Kong’s prosperity and stable. |
