Study Of Cross-border Acquaintance And The Inbound Consumption Habits Of Vietnamese

Ci-zhuba,a border village in China’s Yunnan Province bordering Vietnam’s Ha Giang City,one of the key nodes of construction of Yunnan Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture and Tianbao Port,has changed greatly with the further development of the “the Belt and Road Initiatives”.At present,on the basis of China’s initiative of connectivity with the countries along the Road and surrounding countries,Ci-zhuba area is committed to realizing the mutual understanding between the people of transnational ethnicities and the unblocked mutual trade,so as to build a harmonious and stable Sino-Vietnam border.In the face of the new era and new requirements,we should fully recognize that the study of transnational ethnicities is an integral part of the study of the world ethnicities,and we should make further breakthroughs in the original studies and analyze the nature of their behaviors such as cultural sharing and cross-border consumption.For example,ethnographers’ research on consumption shows that consumption is not only an economic behavior,but also a social behavior.It is not only related to the level of social and economic development,but also closely related to the environment,interpersonal relationships,the past and future of individual,families or groups.Based on this,this article selects consumption as the research theme,takes the crossborder acquaintance as the research entry point,and firstly analyzes how the cross-border acquaintance between Chinese and Vietnamese border people in the Ci-zhuba area is formed and developed.Secondly,by investigating the main ways of livelihood and needs,leisure behaviors and characteristics,festivals and their traditions,as well as main etiquette and customs of Vietnamese borderers in this area,studying the inbound consumption practice of Vietnamese borderers from the perspective of cross-border acquaintance,and then subdivided four different consumption habits,such as productivity,daily leisure life,festival customs and etiquette habits,and discussed.Last,it comes to the conclusion that in inbound consumption habits of Vietnamese borderers are closely related to the cross-border acquaintance which formed in the pattern of difference sequence and the new interpersonal relationship which is influenced by the group pattern of economic,and not only shows the characteristics of mutual benefit and equality of interests,but also the good-neighborly friendship between countries and the harmonious interaction between transnational ethnicity,which is of great significance in promoting cross-border trade,cross-border interaction between border peoples and other aspects.To sum up,this paper proposes that we should understand the border,and border people from a cultural perspective,deepen the research on transnational ethnicity and border people,so as to better understand the border and region,grasp the essence of relationship between border people and their interaction,and better serve “the Belt and Road Initiatives”,border Connectivity and People-to-people connection.
