| With the deepening of the degree of aging,the quality of life of the elderly has attracted more attention.After the old people return to the community life after leaving the workplace,their social communication activities decrease,their social circle gradually shrinks,their physiological functions gradually decline,and they feel helpless,lonely and lost psychologically.All of these will make the old people have less social resources and less social capital.Volunteering is an important way for the elderly to expand their personal social capital.At present,researches on the elderly volunteers are focused on the function,development and current situation of the elderly people participating in voluntary services.However,there is still a lack of researches on the construction of social capital in the process of the elderly people participating in voluntary services.So this article C community of chengdu as an example,the social capital theory,with a personal measure of construction of social capital,the use of participant observation and in-depth interviews research methods,described in the process of old people to participate in volunteer service,the personal social network expansion,sums up the individual process of construction of social capital,found that voluntary service in the construction of social capital plays a positive and effective role in the process,the formation of individual social capital can contribute to the community social capital increment,solve the current community governance such as low residents’ participation in the governance dilemma,Finally,some Suggestions are put forward from social workers to intervene in the management of the elderly volunteers in urban communities.This paper is divided into four chapters.In the first chapter,the introduction mainly introduces the origin of the topic and the significance of the research,and summarizes the domestic and foreign research results from three aspects: volunteer service for the aged,social capital,and the relationship between social capital and volunteer service for the aged.The research design of this paper is also introduced,including research methods,research contents and research ideas.The second chapter introduces the basic information of C community voluntary service,including the basic information of C community elderly people participating in voluntary service,the information of voluntary service management,and the related information of the elderly people participating in voluntary service.This part is mainly to pave the way for the understanding of the elderly in C community and the basic situation of participating in voluntary services.The third chapter is the focus of this paper,which puts social capital on the level of community governance.According to the relevant theories of the construction of individual social capital,this paper divides the individual social capital into three parts: interpersonal network,community network and community network,and describes the impact of voluntary service on the construction of community capital.The fourth chapter,the summary: as a method,voluntary service can promote the individual social capital construction of volunteers,and then form community social capital.It can not only help the elderly to achieve active aging,but also solve the dilemma of face-to-face community governance and effectively promote community participation。... |
