Research On The Multi-dimensional Expansion Of The De Vergottini Index And The Imbalance In People’s Livelihood

The balanced distribution of social resources is one of the important concerns of the current national development.The De Vergottini index,which can be used in the economy to measure the imbalance in income or wealth distribution,is characterized and strengths of being very sensitive to groups with high income levels,and is an indicator that measures the imbalance of a single indicator only.Based on the cumulative distribution of multiple resources,this paper presents a multidimensional V index defined on the Lorenz supersurface to measure the imbalance of the allocation of resources in multiple societies.Based on the analysis of the nature of the two-dimensional V index,an algorithm for calculating the multidimensional V experience index by sample is designed to prove that the empirical index is consistently converged to the true value of the index.This paper applies the multi-dimensional V index to analyze the data of people’s livelihood in China,and the results reveal the characteristics of the imbalance of social resources in China,but also show that in the complex economic situation,the multi-dimensional V index can more accurately depict multi-source information than the De Vergottini index.The research of this article can be divided into the following five parts: First,the research background and literature review of The De Vergottini index,and make a general plan and elaboration of the research content,introduce the innovation point of the article.Secondly,the overview of the De Vergottini index is summarized in detail,and the promotion of the multi-dimensional index to be used is introduced in detail,the nature of the two-dimensional V index is further analyzed,and the sample experience of the multidimensional V index is introduced and summarized.Third,the data simulation analysis is carried out for the two-dimensional V index,and the influence of different factors on the index value is analyzed.In the case of small samples,a method to increase the estimation accuracy of the two-dimensional V index was found.Fourth,to describe the development level of China’s people’s livelihood,the two-dimensional V index is used to depict the imbalance of China’s people’s livelihood from the perspectives of provinces,four regions,four regions,etc.,while calculating the Gini index and V index for comparison,analysis of the advantages of the two-dimensional V index,and the imbalance of China’s people’s livelihood to do trend analysis.Fifth,to make a summary and outlook on index promotion and empirical research,reflect on the shortcomings of the article.
