Study On Home-based Elderly Care Service In Wuhan Baocheng Community

China has the largest elderly population in the world.The world bank expects,the proportion of Chinese people over 65 to grow to 26 percent by 2050,at least one in five people on average aged 65 or older.In the face of the rapid development of the aging situation,we should innovate the mode of providing for the aged and actively develop community home endowment.This paper takes the representative Baocheng community of Wuhan as the research object。Through careful investigation and research,it is concluded that there are some problems in community home pension service,mainly manifested in: The imbalance between the total supply and demand of community elderly care services,the single content of community supply cannot meet the diverse needs of the elderly,the low supply of community is disconnected from the demand of the elderly,the imbalance between the insufficient supply of community professionals and the strong demand for services for the elderly,and the low number of beneficiaries of community supply and the strong demand for the elderly.In view of these problems,and guided by the relevant theories,this paper puts forward: in the aspect of service objects,establishing a database of the needs of the elderly,increasing the publicity of community home-based care services,enhancing the awareness and initiative of the elderly to purchase old-age services;In terms of government,we should appropriately increase input,accelerate the construction of a community home care service platform,Strengthen the application of supervision and evaluation results;In the elderly service participating units,we should extend communityhome care services,enhance their own service ability publicity,and strengthen our own professional construction.The aim is to promote the development of community home pension service in Wuhan.
